I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

You can control what happens if you so desire. For instance, if 2 teams make a trade that you dont like or think is unfair you can undo it. It essentially keeps things even if you will.Let's Go Mets!!!Comment

Re: MLB The Show 20 Q&A Thread
I just purchased the MVP edition from the PS4 store for 79.99. However I didn't get a download. I checked my bank and see there is a pending charge, and there is for 79.99 so I know I got the MVP version to get the game early.
When I click on the "tell me more" option on the screen where the game is purchased, it reads....you are unable to download because you already own MLB 2020 the Standard Edition...So it appears as though I might be screwed until next Tuesday????
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for any help.Comment

Although it's likely that over the following 3 games you'll get fewer beans, it's still possible to continue the streak. Someone else is going to get an even bigger streak and probably already has.
I'm not dismissing any possible issue, but this is a quirk of baseball because there are so many stats you can keep track of. It is always hard to distinguish a streak from something else. What can be done? I believe the best way to diagnose stats is to gather a ton of data and compare it to MLB:
Last year in the NL, it was 1048 HBP for 2430 G which is .43 HBP / G. We can then periodically compare with user stats by doing the same division over hundreds of thousands of games (i.e. 100 years of MLB worth). I don't have the exact data in front of me, but I type it up twice a year and it came out to be a similar number.
HBP is simpler here, but it gets tricky with things like Hits that are much more sensitive to difficulty. I.e. if you are really good but play on Rookie, even an incredible hitting streak doesn't mean much - it just confirms that you are really good.Comment

I don't know if this is helpful at all, but this might just be a normal streak. There are many other people who are going to get 5 beans in 3 games, but also there will be even more who get 0 beans in 3 games. You can see the same thing in the actual MLB games.

Thanks for the reply. Makes sense.
