Here is a clip of an error recorded as a hit. I'm seeing this alot. I have not seen a recorded fielding error since a couple patches ago on ground balls.

I wonder if its due to the backhand animation being triggered?


Here's a clip of Yoan Moncada making and being given an error on a ball he got in front of. This was actually his 2nd error of the game as he had a similar play back in the 2nd inning.

Thanks. Very strange. As you can hear in the clip the announcer even refers to it as a misplayed. And I have had a few others take a step or two and bobble and called a hit.

Maybe we should start a thread about it and see if others in the community are seeing it and hopefully the devs will look at it (I know they browse threads but don't respond typically)

I'd go ahead and start that carry-over in 20. I could be wrong and hope that I am but if I were a betting man, I'd wager that anything more than 90 man rosters won't happen before Show 22, maybe even later. but I really hope I'm wrong. also, I'd like to think SDS is developing ideas how to incorporate carry-overs with expanding rosters. and expansion as well, though that's probably at least another 5 years away.

I’m with you on 2022..at best. Their 90 man rosters is not a console power issue but some tight links to their franchise logic ( progressions, calls-up, injuries, draft & retirement). Changing it would require a major rework of the franchise coding logic....and based on past years, the focus, time & money invested is just not there.

Unless Sony injected a lot of $$$, the more or less same dev team will have to release PS5 version, still support an PS4 version and are for sure already working on porting to the XBox series for next year.

I’m expecting lot of quick-win enhancements like fabulous lighting, graphic textures, stadiums & crowd upgrade and what i hope new, more detailed player model.

Does anyone know why we're not allowed to edit the batting helmets of Minor League players?

That seems like a really random/nonsensical restriction.

How do I implement a defensive shift? I know that the CPU will automatically set up a shift for pull hitters but id like to override that at times (for example changing from 3B drag but coverage to say play at double play depth).. ive actually been able to do it a few times completely by accident and forgot what buttons I pressed.. looked through the controls & strategies menu and couldn't find it

Can anyone explain how the online rating is calculated after a ranked seasons game...I thought If I lowered my team mod it would give me more points for a win and less for a loss but that doesn’t seem to be the case
