Bacon, assuming you're going to continue your awesome roster work on next gen, I'm curious if you will be doing your roster for both next gen systems or PS5 only?

We will see. I'll need to know more information about how player creation will work (if it changes) and what customization options we still have. I am currently undecided on what direction to head in but will keep the community updated as we get closer to release.

Depending on the way it's set up maybe there will be a way people can all chip in and help transfer it over if needed. I'm sure there would be enough volunteers willing to help if need be. Will just have to wait and see though.

This is a great idea. Bacon's Fictional Roster may become a community project. Again, I'll let you know what I decide.

Not very far into my post season games but here are the results so far. Playing as the home team for each game. Eventually may stream a game depends on how I'm feeling in the moment.

Late May in my Cubs franchise. Cubs in first by 1 game over the Reds. Headed into Milwaukee to take on the Surging Brewers who are in 3rd, won 5 in a row and are now only 4 out. Cubs lose the first 2, both 1-0 shutouts, Cubs avoid the sweep with a 1-0 shutout! Of all my years playing The Show this is a first, three 1-0 shutouts in a series.

To some these low scoring games might sound boring, but I loved them! And thanks to my offense totally disappearing my Lead is now 0.5 game over the Reds and the Crew is only 3 out. Should be a great race! Cubs have 3 with the Marlins then 8 of the next 10 against the Reds!

Long-time lurker here, first time poster in this thread. I just tried out your roster for MLBTS19 and was BLOWN AWAY! I played a full 9-inning game and would simply just bat for each team. I batted from the broadcast camera and had an absolute blast! Thank you so much for your hard work, can't wait to play some more. It is just so cool seeing all the different guys and imaging the unique storylines that this will create!

I played as the Yankees and the Orioles on opening day! Baltimore's ace just threw me for a loop most of the game, his quick release, his 4SFB combined with his KCV has me looking lost (I think he had like 10 K's lol). Hit a 2-run blast off the Yankee's ace in the 1st (surprised myself tbh lol) with the 3-hole, but was shutout the rest of his way in a 4.2 inning effort I believe. I finally got a walk plus back-to-back two-baggers in the 7th off the Orioles starter to cut the lead to 3-2. Then with the orioles (man are the fast, 3-4 stolen bases at least) I hit 2 doubles in the 8th to answer and bring the score to 4-2 which is where it stayed.

Absolute blast! I am doing a 30-team controlled franchise where I think I'm just going to play every playoff game and sim through regular seasons and let the CPU manage and everything. Might need to see if any records/situations lead me to make some trades but I think we're going to let the league just kind of play out on its own and see where it goes!

The 2nd games of the NLDS and ALDS series. No home field advantage at play here. I can feel not having the 300 games of experience of the same players in these games. Especially in the pitching performances.

This is driving me absolutely nuts...I have all my franchise settings set to manual, but it's clearly doing everything auto. I can't assign my scouts the way I want, I can't set my pitching rotations/lineups, I can't control my minor league teams, etc.

Has anyone else experienced this/is there anything I can do to fix this? I've been running this franchise of mine since the first year they introduced carry-over saves and never come across this before.

I'm sure you thought to check this, but I'll mention it anyway. Inside your franchise, Under User Settings --> Mode-Specific Options, make sure everthing is set to manual. And that your "default" profile hasn't been changed, in case you use multiple ones. Again, you've probably already checked this stuff, but just in case.

I have been following this for a long time and posting here and there but thought I would give an update on my fictional league. I decided to re-brand the entire league and do a fantasy draft. While I was drafting I decided that I was going to draft for Power and offence leaving pitching a defence and take my chances while hoping to outscore everybody. I was able to get 2 studs with my first 2 picks in Rex West and Dylan Clark. After that it just kept going! I just finished June 30 gameday so all stats are until July 1.

This season has been so fun and enjoyable because I cam ein with no idea how players would play and I have had to learn through trial and error when to pinch hit, when to rest players, etc. This game is a whole lot better thanks to Bacon!!

Love it! That bench looks great too. Full of veterans, platooners and a speed guy. This is the right way to do a fantasy draft if you do one at all. Build a team with guys that you feel you'll do the best with instead of solely based off overalls.
