I'm not sure I want to be called up to AAA or The Show; the Trash Pandas' mascot and their uniforms are adorable.

There are minor league mascots in the game?

Is the RTTS difficultly like it’s been the last several years? If I’m understanding correct it goes like this...

For example, if I set the difficulty to HOF in the gameplay menu and leave it...

AA = All-Star (one level below)
AAA = HOF (same)
MLB = Legend (one level above)

Does anyone really know is the game still operates this way? And if so is there a level higher than legend if you’re on legend in the MLB? Someone correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks!

Way too easy. I like the grind of the minor leagues and not hitting .450

But can you change back and forth?For example I usually am comfortable playing my characters at All Star + right before HOF.I might enjoy trying a game or two on Legend just to see how bad I really am.Then switch back to my previous difficulty of All Star +.

Is it possible to be a 2-way player in RTTS? Seems like a great way to play the mode, but probably would require some real changes by SDSto make it work. I don't remember hearing about it and seems like a feature they'd hype if it was there.

I'm not sure how but I remember reading 2 way players played havoc with importing your RTTS player(s) from 19.First or second patch fixed that problem.
This game seems to have problems with 2 way players.

The whole game including stats, team management logic and rules, RTTS, and a whole bunch of factors we don’t even know about, is built (and always has been) around position players and pitchers being separate.

You are absolutely right that there will need to be some major changes. It will need a complete overhaul of so many things which is a worry because it will mean that redesign will a) take development time away from more visible changes, and b) result in an increase in bugs that weren’t there previously.

It will however be a ‘short-term pain for a long term gain’. Let’s hope it starts with the next-gen consoles.

Sounds like a no. Figured as much, just thought I'd ask since I didn't pay much attention to RTTS stuff pre-release. The other thing I'd like to be able to do is be a super-utility player, but I don't think that's really possible either.

Yea u can change it at any time after or before games. I personally love dynamic because if its too easy for me difficulty will increase in the middle of the game and if it is too hard then difficulty will decrease as i am playing. Im currently on hall of fame + i believe

I still have the issue of getting called up unrealistically fast. Seems like it's scripted or something because I reverted back to a save before the season started and got called up (from AA right to MLB) on the exact same date despite hitting like .204 the second time around. I feel like SDS caters a little too much towards the casuals by straight-jacketing you to the majors way too quickly whether you deserve it or not.

Again, anecdotal but I've had three separate saves this year have me play all of the first season in AA then start 2021 in AAA. And I was hitting over .350 with those guys, or had an ERA below 2 (plus I wasn't being blocked by anyone in the majors). Wasn't even invited to Spring Training. So I don't know why we are seeing different results.
