    I play on HOF for both pitching and hitting. The problem is if I change to Legend I can't hit a lick anymore so I have to play on HOF. Im going to try and adjust the power slider down 2 notches and see what happens.

    I put user hitting sliders on 4 for everything and it has helped a bit.

      The amount of HR's on regular settings without sliders is ridiculous, makes the game too easy even on high settings. Lower your power, timing. Those sliders are extremely touchy on HOF. The problem with Legend is the contact is so weak from the user so I agree with you on that.

        But like you, I'm playing every inning of my franchise. I actually started one, and ended up backing out and deleting it after about 30 games due to fixes from the first few updates. Now in franchise #2, I'm just past the All Star Game, between 90-100 games into the 2021 season after simming 2020.

        The batting averages and OBPs of my players are high, but not abnormal or record setting. The HR totals for several of my players like Baez and Contrares are pretty much in line with what they are fully capable of in a healthy, productive season. But after a really, really hot week, Kris Bryant now has 35, Schwarber and Mookie Bets (free agent) have over 30, and Ian Happ, who I always rake with in The Show, has almost 30. Rizzo is in the 20s too.

        I often give up 2-3 HRs per game to the CPU. In my last game, I gave up four. One game last week, the Rockies actually hit 8 against me at Coors. One of my worst losses at this dificulty setting ever. It was basically batting practice, no matter what I threw.
        Love the realism of Coors Field. I would play with them but I would not be able to win many games with those pitchers.

          First, this is coming from a MoM player.

          I don't see nearly as many HR's as I was seeing. The only setting I've changed was wind, moving that down to 3. I'm seeing many more runs scoring in ways other than HR's.

            Thinking outside the box. Like that. Would of never thought to do that. Things can go from too hard to too easy quickly when you adjust power, timing, contact etc.

              Adjusting the wind has alot of effect on hitting! I've personally thought that about the last couple games, but then get on here and no one mentions changing wind until this year's game. I change 5 sliders and the game plays great better than I have ever had with any other slider set.

              User SP Stamina = 6
              User RP Stamina = 6
              User Pitch Control = 6
              Wind = 0
              Injuries = 6

                I like that wind has a big effect on the game on neutral sliders. But then again, I play half my games at Wrigley, where that should absolutely be the case. I had a few games this week with 12-15 mph wind blowing straight in.

                  That's what the game says and the flags show it coming in, but if you look at the wind icon on that one screen, I forgot which one, it always has the arrow pointing straight out to CF. So I wonder which is correct.

                    What the game says during the in game weather report and the direction the flags are blowing, is correct.

                    The pause screen will originally show the wind is blowing straight out. But if you back out and pause again, the arrow will change to appropriately show the direction the wind is blowing based on the flags and the in game weather report.

                      I have power down to 4. This is the first year ever I’m debating putting user power down to 3.

                        Re: What happened?! WAYYY to many HRs.

                        I've tried power at 3 and home runs were hit like the dead ball era. But on 4 they're hit as frequently as the steroid era + 2019 MLB season combined.

                        I also found out solid hits seem to have as big an impact on home runs as power. Another thing is solid hits on lower settings yield more base hits because of more bloop and infield hits.

                        Overall, I've gotten more weirder results in slider testing than ever before.

                          I’ve tried solid hits on 4, but nothing below that honestly. Maybe I should try even lower.

                            FWIW, I've had good results with the following:

                            Human Power = 3
                            CPU Power = 4
                            Wind = 4

                            All other hitting sliders at the default of 5.

                                Ok. Every time I've checked they are always pointing out. But if that is wrong it doesn't matter where it's pointing. I wasn't sure which was correct.
