As someone who's tested positive and fighting "the stupid virus", this comment is completely uncalled for.

It's a poor design choice without doubt, but to insinuate it has to do with the "virus getting to them" in any shape or form is completely classless.

I’m sorry you have the virus. But the comment was intended to be a metaphor how it’s ruining everyone lives right now and now this game. And perhaps the world sucking right now hasn’t got anyone thinking right.

No matter how meant, its still completely tasteless given the death and despair the virus is causing in the real world, versus that of a feature removed from a video game.

There's no doubt this is an extremely poor design choice, but there is zero reason to try to relate it to the real world implications COVID-19 is causing on people's health and daily livelihood.

I was guilty of letting my emotions get the best of me this morning.

Let’s all take a deep breath on all of this.

They are going to get things right.

For the time being I am going to an Auto/Auto set up until this get’s addressed. I think all clean screeners can do this to still enjoy the heck out of this game while they work through all this stuff.

I realize is it massively disappointing and I do not disagree the execution has been really bad on the last two updates.

But there really is some awful crap going on in our country and around the world right now.

I am pumping the brakes hard on this stuff. It is all about perspective.

I have always been objective and will always call out errors and mistakes made. And that will never stop. But I feel terrible about my behavior this morning. And I realized just how stressed out I am about life right now because of all this Covid stuff we are living through.

I have clients being heavily affected both personally and financially and I am being a rock for all of them.....and you know what. I am human too. And I just boiled over this morning.

I think most that know me.....know I am a positive glass half full guy. I still very much am.

This game will be right soon enough. But more importantly I hope and pray we all get through this incredible crisis we are living through healthy and firmly on our feet.

Yes I have a 28 week pregnant wife which is over 2 hours travel to the hospital, can’t even go to appointment. And she’s high risk with heart conditions.

My mother has cancer I’m. Not even allowed to see her I list my father last year to cancer. Who knows how my jobs going half working at home Half at work there is talk of standing down people. So now only 1 wage for family right now

Also have a autistic 2 year old who isn’t allowed in hospitals. And your not suppose to have grandkids at grandparents being 2 hours away I wonder who looks after him?? Maybe I’ll even miss the birth of my daughter

So yes this “game” kept me away from all this crap which o wax frustrating this virus is literately ruining my life right now and we don’t even have it. I don’t wanna hear about how others have it worse because that doesn’t make me feel any better.

So note my frustration. And uncalled for comment I may not have the virus but it’s screwing my life and mentally I wish I was in a coma now and having to wake up... this game kept me going. Thank god I got final fantasy 7 Remake early yesterday.

As someone in healthcare who is potentially exposed to this virus every day, this is way too far and completely out of line. The supply shortages are real and this is unprecedented. Hospitals are becoming dog eat dog for supplies. I will not derail this thread but this had to be said.

On to the game: I like auto fielding and manual throwing. I may stick with 1.05 until this is fixed. Hopefully it will be soon. This seems like a poor decision to make and if it is from a bug then hopefully it is fixed soon.

The comment wasn’t about them getting the virus it was about his this virus is effecting people mentally.. (like myself right now)

Auto auto kind of work around for fielding but there isn’t one fir offence, I hate manual base running I suck at it. I get triple played in a mess or forget to move the runners with auto on it was great and I still could steal or hit L1 to tag., now the “hit L1 to tag” doesn’t even pop up now when your trying to tag blindly. And you got no idea to hit l1 or r1 to move all runners back or forward.

This is terrible. Why would you remove the baserunner windows? Now I have no idea where the cpu runners are when fielding. How am I going to know if I should be trying to make a play at the plate or hitting the cutoff man without them? Totally unplayable like this. I had never played auto fielding until this year after the suggestion of Armor and Sword with his sliders, once I tried it I grew to enjoy it a lot. It makes the game even more realistic I could go back to manual fielding but I enjoy the realism I get with this, SCEA I hope you fix this back soon.

It was in the bullet point notes about the patch when you look at them on the PS4. In fact, it was the only thing that I cared about. They absolutely did it intentioanlly.

Certainly not me. I never even gave much thought to HOW MUCH I look at the thing, but my eyes go to where it used to be every time I put a ball into play. Depending on your camera settings, now we can't even see if our baserunner is trying to turn a single into a double. I feel totally in the dark.

I haven’t had a chance to play yet since the patch. Had a few questions if anyone wouldn’t mind answering. I have my PlayStation disconnected from the internet so not sure if I want to download or not yet. If I Manuel field and Manuel throwing will the baserunning window effect me? And have they changed any pitch speeds? I liked how they were I know they didn’t put it in the notes but sometimes It will change after a patch. If anyone who has downloaded the patch could answer those questions I would appreciate it

Did they do anything to the hitting? All of the sudden I'm hitting bombs like crazy with the power slider on three. I don't mean wall scrapers either the shortest one was 425ft. It could be a coincidence. But going back to back to back off Max Scherzer to start a game???? �� Edit make it 4
