Still don’t get why coaches are off-limits for editing. And if we can’t edit them, why don’t they follow the same assigned-number logic as the rest of the roster? Both my base coaches are wearing numbers already assigned to everyday players, so I have to either live with the immersion-breaking eyesore, hire new coaches, or give my everyday guys a different number. Why? Coaches will even wear retired numbers. It’s silly and I don’t get it. Guys have been asking for this for 15 years. Is it really that complicated? On a multi-million-dollar software project with presumably world-class developers and coders? Hard to believe it is.
      Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

Is this absence exclusive to the United States?
I play Roger Center all the time and the net is there.

I'm old school and love it/prefer it if managers wore jackets in the dugout. On The Show I always use the classic sets and the dugout jackets are accurate (for the most part) and look more professional than managers/players wearing hoodies/pullovers looking like homeless bums.

This is why I will only use real coaches so I can research what number they wear before hiring them.

Also the fictional coaches that are assigned to teams use the same jersey numbers as real life counterparts.

I guess I'm set in my ways and enjoy the "less is more" with uniform selections, no more inter-league, separate league Presidents, Umpires etc..but I digress. Hopefully with two more expansion clubs inter-league will be eliminated. I still prefer the managers/coaches/players wearing dugout jackets. Nike could make a killing if they went the old school Starter route.

As someone who is a fan of an NL team but lives 800 miles from the closest NL city, that would absolutely suck. There is a 0% chance they'll scrap Interleague Play.

They won't scrap after mandating all teams play each other every year now.

But they need to expand by 2 teams and revert back to 2 divisions of 8 teams per league and eliminate the central divisions.

I agree with that. If 2 teams are getting byes, it should just be the two division winners. Do A's, Angels, Mariners, Astros, Rangers, White Sox, Royals, Twins in the AL West, and Yankees, Red Sox, Orioles, Rays, Blue Jays, Tigers, Guardians, Expansion Team (probably Nashville) in the AL East. And then Dodgers, Giants, Padres, Diamondbacks, Rockies, Cubs, Cardinals, and either Brewers or Expansion (if it's somewhere like Portland or San Antonio/Austin) in the West with the Braves, Mets, Phillies, Nationals, Marlins, Pirates, Reds, and the other expansion team (if it's somewhere like Montreal or Charlotte).

I think Expansion at this point is very likely, but not until after the Rays either have a new stadium or have moved themselves.

Rays need a new stadium badly. I hope they don't move out of Tampa.

I'd also add Oakland as an expansion possibility after the A's move for the 3rd time.

I used to think they needed to add Portland to the AL West to get a team closer to Seattle and a team in Charlotte for NL East but with the universal DH and the less weighted schedule it isn't as big of a deal for travel.

I think there's pretty much no chance of Oakland getting another team. I feel for Oakland fans, but the fact is that the A's have had a hard time getting a stadium for decades. There's a reason the NBA and NFL both left too. The Howard Terminal site is 11 miles away from Oracle Park, and the Bay Area is a smaller media market than the other 2 team markets. If MLB really wants a 2nd in Northern California, Sacramento makes a lot of sense.

Oakland is a city that's ripe for someone to invest in and get back a rabid fan base. They've lost all 3 of their major franchises and putting in a team in a top 10 TV market that is gonna be starved for a team would be wise.

If it's just an owner looking for a government handout from the highest bidder than maybe Oakland isn't the city for them.

Also if Oakland gets a new team I doubt they will build on the Howard Terminal site as that didn't make sense for the city. That was used by the owner to worm his way out of the city. Each demand was met by Oakland so he invented new things so he could force his move out of there.
