7th inning CPU Comeback again this year!

Ive said it the last 3 years this game has been out that the game has something with the CPU making comebacks in the 7th inning.
I have had the CPU score at least 1 run vs me in every game except 2 (currently 14 games into my Franchise) but this past game just takes the cake.
Up 3-1 and my starter is cruising and than the 7th inning comes along and BAM!
2-2 count low inside curve and its a hanger, Gone!
    (Hit the meter Perfect)
    Next guy strikes out
Next guy walks and 2 pitches that are in the zone get called balls.
Next guy 1-2 count high inside fastball and turned around for a 2 run shot
Next batter grounder to 1st, bad bounce single.
Bring in relief P and his very 1st pitch low and outside change up pulled for a 2 run shot
    Game Shut Off!
    This is ridiculous!
So 15 games and the CPU has scored in 13 of them in the 7th inning!!!

Try changing the umps to accurate/perfect so all pitches are called accurate. The game is meant to be a sim but I haven't felt to many of the moments you experienced in this years game .
Finally Roster share in NHL 22 ! Dreams do come true ! To Garryowen and Glory boys !

I’m experiencing Human comeback logic the last six games. I’ve had epic comebacks like never before, walk offs, huge ninth innings, extra inning comebacks, etc.

My last game I was down 6-1 and ended up winning 10-8. Joey Gallo tied it up in the top of the 9th with 2 outs. An absolute blast of a homer to center field.

7th inning CPU Comeback again this year!

In four of my last five I’ve trailed in the sixth inning or later. The last couple games I’ve trailed in the late innings.

Last game I was down 4-2 in the top of the ninth. Descalso leads off with a single. David Bote (who has been so clutch for me so many times) doubles with a ball off the wall, 4-3. Two batters later Rizzo blasts a ball into the seats. 5-4, Cubs. Next pitch, Baez hits a bomb. 6-4 Cubs win.

I don't like to believe that this logic exists, however, I just lost 3 in a row the same way. I led by 1 or 2 in all three games and all three got tied up in the 7th or 8th. By then my frustration took over and I started to swing at terrible pitches and lost them all.

You lead by one run, or two? So the CPU isn’t allowed to score after the 7th or 8th inning if you have a one run, or two run lead? Then you got frustrated and swung at everything the CPU threw at you (and the CPU picks up on this.

I wonder if the Rangers used a comeback code to win back to back to back walk off wins in real life

By the time you get to the 7th, you're not usually using your best pitchers.

Runners at first & second with nobody out, third inning, 3-2 count, chase a bad pitch and it winds up a double play; now instead of bases loaded with zero outs I have two outs and a runner at first. - These are the situations that lose games, and they happen constantly. You just don’t care/notice because it’s “only” the third and you feel you have all the time in the world.

If I take a 4-run lead in the early innings you best believe I’m trying to get to 6, 8 or 10. Not for a second do I relax and think 4 runs is enough for a win.
                            Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

Love this response. People complain but the AI picks up on your trends. By the 7th inning if you’re constantly pitching low and away or down and in the CPU picks up on that. Then we get hit around and blame comeback code.

I just can’t get on board with this.
