I won’t be able to play until tonight, but as long as it is for DD only and doesn’t effect offline I am good. I finally have my sliders locked in and am enjoying the game.

Patches are one of the number one reasons I stop playing sports games early in the cycle. To me this years game was perfect out of the box. I just don’t understand why companies like EA and SDS don’t have separate patches for online and offline centric modes separately. And yes. The DD crowd is one of the bitchiest sets of gamers I have ever seen. All you have to do is go to theshownation and look at the first page of the general forum. Unfortunately this is the demographic developers are targeting and there is nothing we can do about it at this point. The ship has not only sailed, it most likely is not coming back to port ever again

I'm a Brewers fan and haven't noticed the home plate dirt (probably will now), but am disappointed they haven't fixed the score board Plate Appearances issues yet.  All players still have a 0 for PA during entire season.

I’m disappointed nothing has been done about the home plate dirt at Miller Park yet. I’m surprised more Brewers fans aren’t upset.

I am not a Brewers fan but am playing with them this year. Was it that big last year?

SDS still has not fixed the Cubs batter box lines. They have not degraded for years now. I am surprised Cubs fans aren't up in arms.

And it was working last year. I submitted a ticket on day 1 but hasn't been corrected sadly. I would think it would be a simple fix since it worked last year.

The game played flawless. I use auto base running so don’t know if that makes a difference. There was no homerfest this game.

Baserunning feels super suspect after this patch. I manually base run. I finally got a game in this afternoon and I had to jam on the button 4-5 times to get my runner to respond to advance several times throughout the game(while aiming the analog). Prior to this patch it was at least semi responsive but now feels very weird. I know they said didn’t mess with offline but something feels very weird with the base running today

This is pretty much the only issue I had with this years game. Just yesterday my outfielder gave one of those lazy tosses back in while the base runner slowly strolled over to second on what should have been a single.

Oh god I DON’T like the sound of this at all! What’s the point of sliders if they’re gonna change hitting and play games with the slider gurus and we gotta tweak after every patch basically! Just leave the game alone! It always seem to be fine out of the box!

I found it to be hit happy.. not homerun happy. I loved that. But it ALWAYS goes to homerun happy after all the tweaks! Leave hitting alone when it was great in the first place!

I've found several games that play fine out of the box then they destroy it with patches. By the time 2k gets done patching their basketball game, it's basically last year's version with all the selling points for the new version no longer in the game.

The game does have issues with hit timing. I don't know how many times it has shown my bat making contact with the ball in the middle of the green timing window and says late or early yet it's in the dang green zone and my guy magically misses or fouls it off. Personally I believe they have a attributes issue and hot cold zone issues that allow hitters to get hits. If I have a diamond John Franco with 125k and 110 hit per 9 rating and 125 clutch rating a pitcher has zero business ever making contact on a perfectly placed pitch. Or a hitter with a 60 rating and ball is perfectly placed in his dark blue cold zone but the guy still hits a rope. Pitchers in online with perfect release hanging pitches way to often as well.

3 complete games since the patch and haven't noticed anything different in terms of hitting or really anything for that matter.

I was hoping team records would be added to the Today's Games screen, but unfortunately they weren't.

Playing 4th game now

This is offline franchise on default legend - zone hitting - meter pitching

Im just sick and tired of patches in general. One after first 2 weeks to clean up the odd thing but leave the core (hitting and pitching) at what it is. If theres a ton of homers so be it mlb 20 is "the homer game" of the series. Use sliders and get over it.

Cringe every time I see a patch notes mention it now.

Modern gaming sucks. Overrun by whiny card-playing brats.
