It’s possible a 3rd party is working to port the games to Xbox/switch. The press release said as soon as 2021 so it’s even possible it’s not this year as that was said before COVID.

Hoping for a PC release. Would love to try out the show on the RTX 3080. Not going to hold my breath that it will come out on the PC but I am hoping that is does.

And if I may while I’m here: I just really, really, really want them to bring back real time presentation. I appreciate lots of people found it boring and skipped a ton of it or whatever, but you cannot argue in good faith that a series of prerendered cutscenes is a preferable option going forward.

Have that in for those that would enjoy it.

Spent a lifetime skipping (poor) Madden cutscenes, wouldn't have a problem doing that in MLBtS if I didn't enjoy them.

Bought the game every years since '14. Walk away from it yearly because (truly) great rosters can't be created.

A PC release, and the mods and utilities that will come with it, have the potential to make this THE greatest sports game of all-time.

I'm not taking shots at anyone.

Hamstrung is the word I'll use to sum up the current state of roster editing, but that hardly scratches the surface.

The current setup is glorified data entry, really.

We need a bonafide external roster editor to really unlock what rosters can be, at least in terms of retro-roster creation.

The switch would be the most limiting component, yes, and therefore the system with the most impact. Can't add an improvement if it won't work on the switch.

I don't think the switch needs any help selling though.

yeah, it definitely doesn't need help, I just think it will be an added plus for nintendo.

a lot of people that I follow on Youtube that talk about this stuff who know their stuff are saying that developers are seriously worried about the Xbox Series S will seriously hold back games due to its serious lack of power. Seeing as how it is even less powerful than current-gen systems.

So we will have to see how it all unfolds as it does

Here is a good article explaining how the Series S is more powerful than the One X in certain aspects.

I think the game will run fine. It just won't run in 4K. And theoretically, it will run at 60fps. It will be optimized to work with the systems bottlenecks just fine.
