Hopefully we get the option of using a universal DH or I’ll just wait for Show 22 as much as that would suck waiting.

Tatis was the best choice for the cover.

Not for us exhibition mode players! 😕

Franchise mode it’s available.

The funny thing is games like MVP 2005 had the option for a universal DH in exhibition mode 16 years ago. Hopefully this is the year Sony adds it.

No idea how they get away with charging the same price in dollars that they charge in pounds. It's not as if it's a great seller over here in Britain, we are ineligible for all the competitions and giveaways and usually get the game 12 hours later, charging us the equivalent of $80+ for the standard version seems like taking liberties. Especially as nowhere over here even stocks it so you can't even shop around, you are stuck with the ripoff price of digital download.

I noticed Tatis doesnt have Adidas logo on batting gloves... I cant remember do they always remove sponsor logos on the cover? Otherwise I hope that doesnt mean they lost sponsorship.

Also, if the next gen version is $10/£10 more, does that mean you can't get free upgrade from this gen to next gen, like most games?

Well there is a proposal from MLB to the union that they are considering. The season would start a month later near the end of April so if they do accept it that won’t be the case. In it is also a 154 game season, expanded playoffs, universal DH.

Honestly, I'm more happy that there isn't a longer delay for next gen. I was fully expecting May release for next gen PS5, and I wasn't even expecting Xbox releases at all this year.

We'll see how the game looks on next gen consoles, but I must say I'm pleasantly surprised already.

Now if next gen is essentially a cut and paste from PS4, then I take back some excitement for sure, so let's see what SDS has been up to.

Please note: There will be no standard edition upgrade path from current gen to next gen. If you are interested in having access to the game on both current and next gen platforms, please wait for more info about the collector’s edition.

MLBPA is rejecting that.
