This sounds interesting but only if they intend to bring back y2y saves. I play every pitch of all 162 plus some minor league games. In my case I wouldn't be doing much planning for the future as I wouldn't get as deep into a franchise as someone who only plays every 5th game.

Re: MLB The Show 21 Information So Far
that would be great news. I absolutely loved the potential of that feature.
if teh show can have that type of feature and tie it into pitcher windup, movement and release point.. man.
no pc. so Im a bit disappointed. but I have to see the graphics on the PS5 before i make an investment for a PS5.Comment

Looks like no Negro League integration this year. Especially with the (probable) Jackie Robinson special edition, was hoping this was the year that we saw some integration. At least the NL uniforms with some baggy pants and such. Maybe someday.. [emoji1317]

Re: MLB The Show 21 Information So Far
Since they are doing the whole casual/sim/competitive gameplay maybe that means when using sim they'll make the guy at first actual cover first. Instead of letting the pitcher with a 3 speed rating safely reach on a shallow ball hit to the outfield."Listen son, you only have enough runs when you’re showering after a win."Comment

Re: MLB The Show 21 Information So Far
Okay definitely intrigued by the “complete fielding oberhaul”. I love analog pitching so I don’t really need a new way to pitch but another option to pitch is fine to have.
I also love that they put an emphasis on integration of the Dualsense capabilities. Really curious what they have in store for us.
Having said that I really wish they threw us a bone with a little sneak peak of how the game will look on the new console. I mean now we have to sit out whole febraury to get a taste?!"When it's all set and done, reality is the best innovation."Comment

I sure hope that New pitching mechanic means no more robotic looking deliveries/windups.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 21 Information So Far
I'm probably going out on a limb here, but I hope they expanded on the "rebranding" feature within franchise with more classic stadiums - Ebbets Field, Old Tiger Stadium, and Comiskey Park come to mind - and provide some decent generic stadiums that we can accessorize with team colors/logos, or allow us to create our own stadium. And the ability to re-align the divisions would be a great addition.Comment

I hope they bring back Y2Y saves in upcoming year. It’s really the only reason I get so invested into franchise mode
