Very very very impressed!
A lot to like with the fielding changes. The off axis catch animations are a very welcomed addition and so is the strafing when playing a ball off the wall.
And Cards powder blues looking sharp even if Bader was struggling in the outfield
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

This is the PS4 version captured on the PS5. We likely won't see any next gen footage till the stream that's focused on it. I could be wrong, but that's my belief.

My initial thoughts are that this is a breathe of fresh air for defensive play.
It looks like the animations are more fluid and forgiving for users and you do not need to hold your breath and hope the game doesn’t screw you over.
I will say that in the competitive/online realm, could this take away some of the skill gap?
I consider myself a good defensive player in The Show and I have won games online because of it. While I’ve also won games because my opponent was much more inexperienced on defense and made simple, common mistakes.
The online gameplay could be impacted with all of these helpful indicators (especially the precise route line and no drift ball marker). Everyone could be playing near perfect defense if they just follow along with the screen indicators.Comment
