Some wonder if the old timers could handle today's game. I wonder if some of today's players could handle the game back then.

No way this generation could handle the game back then.

Do we know if you can edit players and accessories in March to October this year?

Yep, I am 56 years old.
Also playing an OOTP Baseball Cardinals franchise with full minors.

It's easy to dismiss the player base of the modes you don't play, or like, as kids and say that they are somehow less into baseball than the franchise players but that is an oversimplification and just not correct.

I'm 43 yrs old and play a ton of offline DD.

I also completed two seasons of a franchise without simulating a single game. (A franchise I am still actively playing.)

I just love baseball in every form possible!

Has there been any information on launch day rosters? Last year they heavily promoted the inclusion of real minor leaguers. I’m assuming it will be the same this year but haven’t heard a whisper. Hopefully I missed something along the way. Really hoping they’ve gone even deeper with this feature and expanded on the roster quality.

I’m nervous about these rosters since we will be stuck with them for a while before we get some better ones created. Last year players like Gavin Lux were missing. I’m afraid who will be missing this year.

I sure hope so... About the only good thing with the late release is that SDS will be able to add guys like Matt Moore, etc who werent in last years game because they played overseas, to be added in... Would be awesome if they had a face scan and audio right away but I'm guessing those guys will be CAPS.

I'll be honest, I don't even necessarily care if the rosters are full with "real" guys or if guys are "missing".

I just don't want a repeat of last year where half the teams had horribly imbalanced roster make-ups (like 11 players at a position on the 90-man, or a position not having enough guys).

From what I heard, they'll discuss how up to date the rosters are during the DD stream Thursday.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

And the imbalanced rosters led to all the crazy prospect trades. Hopefully that's fixed out of the box. I don't want to have to go through and balance all the rosters again.

Common, Josh. My dream team was to have 11 second basemen on my roster. Teams will be knocking on my door begging me for my stash. I can overcharge them. LOL

I use a carry over franchise but I took a look at the "real minor league players" last year and I wasn't impressed. No offense to the people who volunteered to create those rosters but is was a dysfunctional mess.

I’d give up having real minor leaguers in a heart beat to prevent the rosters being as out of whack as they were last year.

                              Same here....

(There were enough minor leaguers, including some rather obscure guys, in the SDS screens during the franchise feature that leads me to believe that we'll get some sort of "full minors" back.)
