After a few days of playing the Series X version on my new LG C1, all I can say is wow. It feels like a totally new game to me. The colors just pop and are extremely accurate. And there is absolutely no dips in frame rate like there was on my Sony X850E. Even on balls hit down the line or chopped in front of the plate are completely smooth. Having VRR is a total game changer. The game now runs just as smooth as the PS5 version, and right now I'm actually preferring it over the PS5. Dolby vision looks amazing as well. It's hard for me to describe but man, everything just pops and looks crisp. I can't put the game down right now. So if you have a Series X, and are in the market for a new TV, get the LG C1. You won't be disappointed. The Show plays like a totally different game on it.

One of the most fulfilling victories I've had in this game.

That's a tough one. I have both and I play my Series X more, but I still love the PS5. Right now I feel Xbox is doing more with their new consoles than Sony is doing with the PS5. But that's just my opinion. You can't go wrong with either console tbh. The Show plays great on both of them.

I've posted about it in the franchise thread, but the difficulty definitely ramps up in the postseason. I swept the regular-season series from the Dodgers, but they're giving me all I want in the NLCS. Some of the most intense games I've ever played.

I picked up 21 over the holidays whe gamestop was selling the series x version for 5 bucks. I have just been doing play now games with Bacons roster. I really like how the game plays.

I went back to play a franchise I have on 19 and I was surprised at how different it felt to go back. I have another franchise on 20 I havent gone back to yet since I got 21 but I am interested to see how it feels compared to 21. I may just drop my 20 franchise and start it over in 21 since I am not far into it, but I want to see of carry over saves are back in 22. If they aren't I'll probably keep my existing franchises in 19 and 20.

I'd really like to do a relocation franchise where all teams are relocated using bacons roster, but with created stadums not having night games that's kind of a dealbreaker for me to run it in 21.

But overall it plays a damn good game of baseball.

So I never thought I'd get my hands on a ps5, plus I had other things to take care so it wasn't a priority. So I had gotten the Show PS4 version only, but my freaking awesome wife surprised me on Friday with a ps5.
I'm playing the ps4 version of the show on the ps5. It runs so smooth, which is tremendous becuase on my ps4 pro there was some choppy play especially at minute maid park. Maybe it's a placebo, but I even moved up to legend from HOF and I feel on the ps5 my batting has gotten better... maybe it's the smoother game play helps me see the ball better idk.
So I'm sort of torn to get the ps5 version since it's on sale for a little less than 30 bucks at Target. Just curious to see if there is a difference in game play.

I don't think there are any differences in Gameplay...I think just some slightly better graphics...not sure what the PS4 version looks like on the PS5, but I can't imagine there's a huge difference. Not sure if the stadium creator mode is really worth whatever the discounted price is, but it could keep you preoccupied for a bit until '22 releases.

In summary: IMO I don't think you would have a drastically different experience with the PS5 version. If you were still playing '20 I think its a different story. I'd say wait it out and get the PS5 version of '22. Just my .02

Its crazy...the PS5 version feels like a completely new game to me (I know its the same game, please don't inform me), as the colors look a bit more vibrant and the gameplay feels so dang smooth.

And the stadium creator feature that I didn't think I'd care all that much about.....well....I keep finding myself sorting through the creations of others in complete amazement.

And I don't miss sounds of the show like I thought I would.

Full disclosure..I only used the broadcast theme music aspect of SotS and did not fully indulge myself into its full potential or offerings.

Really looking forward to seeing how they handle night games. Yes, been switching back and forth between 20 and 21 and they are NOT identical. I give a nod to the 21 version.

I swear I'm hitting better on PS5 version vs PS4. Obviously just could be a "hot stretch", but seems as though I am seeing the pitches better on the PS5.
