So 23 comes out in March/April on all platforms. If PS4/Xbox1 doesn't get the WBC I wouldn't be too upset. I just want SDS to add the missing away/missing alternate throwback uniforms.

Re: Uniform wishlist for The Show 23
The Rangers Red T Cap/Matte Red T Helmet with their home white was added as a home red alternate in DD but not in any other mode. DD wins again.

Re: Uniform wishlist for The Show 23
I wouldn't mind doing an Orioles franchise but SDS won't add the missing 1995 road uniform while the 95 home is already in. Same with the Giants. They have the 1983-1993 Home but not the 1983-1993 Away.Proud season ticket holder for the Oklahoma City ThunderComment

This was an odd one. The Rangers didn’t wear their red with blue brim cap last year (the one that’s tied to their red uni in game) so I’m thinking they’ll add the all red cap tying it to that uni in 23.Comment

Re: Uniform wishlist for The Show 23
I'd rather all of the current uniform sets be accurate, and for all of the specialty uniforms(mothers day, fathers day, etc.) be added before they bother with throwbacks. I'd prefer the current game be favored over 1987. But that's just me.Comment

Uniform wishlist for The Show 23
Interesting article on the future of MLB unis:
https://news.sportslogos.net/2023/01...2024/baseball/
Nike wants to have teams with at most 4 jerseys + 1 city connect for 5 total. This could impact a few teams like Arizona and Seattle among others.
Last MLB The Show we saw some teams alts get removed because they were in real life, like the Mets blue road or A’s dark green. I suspect we could see this again this year for teams it applies to.Last edited by Bartolo Colon; 01-16-2023, 04:54 PM.Comment

Looks like MLB is going the route of the NBA and having 4 minimum. Clubs will have Home/Away, one alternate (Statement) and then a City edition and later on an "Earned" edition. Some teams may do one classic edition similar to the NBA.
As for SDS adding any new throwback uniforms in at this point, it's highly unlikely. I'll still pick up 23 as I've been playing 20 forever. Glad to see SDS is still going to release The Show on PS4/Xbox 1Proud season ticket holder for the Oklahoma City ThunderComment

Some clarity on the 4 +1 jersey limit from Paul Lukas; he said “ this sounds like more of a goal than a strict rule.”

Re: Uniform wishlist for The Show 23
Even though I'm not big on the City Connect series, I'm glad to see the Braves and Mariners are doing a Fauxback/Remix on theirs. I may just do a season with the Mariners using their 1987-1992 uniforms as the permanent and the new City Connect as the "Spring Training/Alternate".

Teams this would effect, just off the top of my head
Tampa Bay - white, gray, dark blue, light blue, Devil Rays throwback that they were wearing on Saturdays.
Toronto - white, gray, blue, powder blue, red(rare but it's still worn)
Seattle - white, gray, teal, navy blue, cream throwback
Texas - white, gray, blue, red, powder blue
Philidelphia - white, gray, cream fauxback, powder blue throwback, red
San Diego - white, gray, brown, two different camo jerseys
Arizona - white, gray, white with teal lettering, red, blackComment

Re: Uniform wishlist for The Show 23
How is it that Nike has any say over the number of jerseys a team can wear?
As the customer can’t the team or league just demand what they want and if Nike can’t provide it they take their next contract to another company?
Why is Nike calling the shots?

Also Pittsburgh if you count their camo trim uni.Last edited by Bartolo Colon; 01-23-2023, 06:34 PM.Comment

I know right. They did this with the city unis in the NBA and color rush in the NFL. Although now I don’t think they mandate anything in the NFL.Comment
