Re: Uniform wishlist for The Show 23
I’ve felt like I’ve been in the minority too with the powder blue craze. I don’t mind it if it’s one of the teams colors like the Rays. But other than that I’m not the biggest fan.Comment

Re: Uniform wishlist for The Show 23
Since the move to the new ballpark, the Rangers wore Red on Friday home and the Blue was relegated to Alternate away. The red caps/socks were worn often at home with the standard home white uniform. The question remains will the red caps be in the style guide and used at home this season.
Also why can't SDS add the 1983 Rangers set among others? Looks like they've reached their limits on uniforms like EA/2k etc.Proud season ticket holder for the Oklahoma City ThunderComment

Re: Uniform wishlist for The Show 23
So, to my knowledge, dropped jerseys so far:
Mariners gray
Rangers red
Diamondbacks with with red and black (seemingly, as the white "alts" were the uniforms used to show off the ugly ad patch, and they're what's used as their home in the tech test)
Teams that would still need to drop one to get to 4+1:
Blue Jays, Braves, Pirates, Phillies, Rays.
The Blue Jays could probably keep all 5 if they limited the red to Canada Day (Nike is letting teams keep "one day" uniforms beyond the 4+1 supposedly). The Braves could do the same with the Hank Aaron jerseys (they only normally wear them for a series or two per season as is; just wear them annually on either April 8th or July 15th). Logically, the Pirates should just drop one of their two black jerseys, and just use the other home and away.
The Rays were going to drop gray, but there were rumblings a month ago they had backed off that, and they're wearing the gray in the tech test. I'd imagine that's a logistics thing. If you only have one road jersey, it'd have to be gray because MLB doesn't want both teams wearing the same color jersey. So if the home team is wearing blue, the Rays have to have an alt. So they have to either keep the gray or wear the light blue on the road with gray pants as well.
I don't know how much stock to put into team stores, as the Diamondbacks are selling all 5 jerseys still. But the Rangers red isn't listed, nor is the Mariners gray. With that said, the Blue Jays still have White, Blue, and Powder Blue listed, but no red or gray. The Braves have white, navy, and red. But no gray or throwback (funny enough, you can still buy a Cole Hamels jersey). Pirates have white, gray, black home, black away, but no digital camo alternate. Phillies have white, red, and powder blue, but no gray or cream. Rays have white and navy blue, but no gray, light blue, or throwback. But since they announced that they're wearing the Throwbacks on Opening Day and on Fridays, and gray is in The Show, seeming leaves light blue as the odd man out.

Teams can wear the same color alternates as long as the road team has gray pants.Attached FilesComment
