The only other Devil Rays uniform not in the game is the 2001-2007 home set. Instead SDS has the alternate 2001-2007 "Vest" in the game.





Since some new throwbacks will be added it will be interesting if this one gets added in for Tampa.

It's a crime that these aren't their primary uniforms. Way past time for a change back to the Devil Rays. Their current ones are just so bland that it's not even funny.

These are better than the originals too. Looks a lot better with the Navy hats rather than the black. A full set like this would be a big upgrade. Rays have one of the worst uniform sets in baseball.

Now for Pittsburgh this is the only uniform missing from the 1979 set. Hopefully SDS ads this instead of a 1930's uniform for the Bucs.

Looks like the red accessories with the home whites for Texas made it in. Can't remember if that combo was in 22 or not.

Don’t know about 22 but I’m hoping we haven’t seen anything new (yet) as far as accessories/equipment. (I’m planning on being disappointed btw)

We haven't. The last few years they haven't really revealed any new stuff through the trailers (I think Nike catchers equipment is the only one I can recall), so I don't think we will find out anything until launch day

The combo was in 22, however, the cap it worked with was the red w/ blue brim cap. The all red cap was omitted the last 2 years, which is the combo they use it with IRL.

Previously in the Show you could add the Rangers standard white and pair it with the 94 home pants and 94 cap. The socks/shoes/batting helmets will be red but the team accessories will be blue.


Speaking of the Rangers hopefully they added the 1983 Home/Away set for Texas but sadly they'll probably add another 1961-1971 Washington Senators as the Twins will have the 1913 Senators uniforms from the recent pic shown on social media.

Yeah that has been in for the last get years. Question is did they finally put the correct hat in that they wear with them in.

I would assume it will be correct this year, because the red hat with the blue brim has been eliminated and the red hat with red brim is the primary hat at home now I believe.......but, who knows....

just something i noticed while rewatching trailers; no jersey ads seem to be in the game. padres do not have the motorola ad on their jersey (there is a full view of the padres uni in the nintendo switch ad). i know some people are against jeresy ads and might see this as a good thing, but to me this seems like a oversight and another small detail being forgotten by sds. it hurts the realism slightly. who knows.

I personally hate that baseball is getting jersey ads. But I'm also in favor of them being in The Show if they're in the game. Just like I used to download stadiums on MLB 2k with the right ads in the outfield.

That said, I could understand SDS punting on this one for a year. So far it's just the Padres, Red Sox, Angels, Diamondbacks, and Astros, right? And the helmet ads that were originally supposed to start last October haven't shown up yet. I could understand SDS waiting until it's more adopted before making those changes.

That's an oversight I'd be happy with. I can't put into words how much I hate seeing ads on MLB uniforms.

I think ads are less intrusive in hockey and basketball because the players are always on the move. But with baseball half the game is watching the batter in the box, and an ad on the shoulder or helmet is in your face much more.
