I still fail to see the point of this new jersey limit rule.

If its to get rid of road grey uniforms, then I'm all for it. I've never been a fan of boring grey jerseys. Other than that, I don't really see the point either.

There isn't really a point it's just a Nike thing keeping uniformity across the league basically.

You would think Nike would want each team to have as many jerseys as possible so they could sell more merch.

Apparently the Blue Jays red Canada Day jerseys haven’t been in the style guide the last few years. SDS has still included it in The Show so I’d assume it should still be included in The Show 23 then.

This is similar to the A's Yellow alternate they haven't worn since 19 but has been in the Show 20, 21, and 22 but it is still in the style guide.

None of the teams are wearing ST patches on the uniforms like in the past. Yankees, Dodgers and Tigers don't wear normal alternates so they have no issue with the new rule. The article on the Mariners dropping their grey uniforms clearly stated that ST jerseys now count against the jersey limit.

Teams haven't been wearing patches on their Spring Training jerseys for 4 seasons now. 2019 was the last time there were patches.

I guess we'll see, but I very seriously doubt the Braves will wear these past the Spring. Especially since these aren't even for sale on the team store (but the other ones are).

Would love seeing these Rangers uniforms in. The Blue Away was in All Star Baseball 2003-04.

Uniform wishlist for The Show 23

Saw a video of someone going through a few teams unis (Padres, Mets, Dodgers, Reds, Pirates, Cubs, may have been a few others).

No Spring Training jerseys. Didn’t see any new throwbacks, aside from what was posted by SDS (like the Reds and Cubs new ones). Although, they’ll likely be a day 1 patch so there’s a chance that some could be added I suppose.

Also, it looks like the Pirates didn’t drop any current uniforms.

I don’t know if I’m allowed to post it here but it’s on YouTube (for now) if you go looking. Search MLB The Show 23 and sort it by upload date, you’ll see a channel with some past live streams.

So only 9 new throwbacks were added then? Still gonna get 23 and do a franchise with the Giants and only use the 1983-1993 Home & Away uniforms.

We don’t know that yet. Only a handful of teams were shown off

These aren't even the ST jerseys they are the warm ups. Its absolutely ridiculous they are even in the game.

Its mind boggling that the devs refuse to address issues that would make the actual authentic MLB experience. Instead they put time and resources into realistic uniform styles/old equipment/crowds for a story mode, meanwhile they ignore managers wearing big heavy outdated jackets for games in July.

Instead they put time and resources into realistic uniform styles/old equipment/crowds for a story mode, meanwhile they ignore managers wearing big heavy outdated jackets for games in July.

The manager jackets get me more than the ST jerseys to be honest. No one wears those jackets anymore. They all wear hoodies or some kind of pullover shirt with the team logo on it.
