The ability to start a franchise from current day or any past day with the correct stats, standings, and transactions on that date.

This strikes me as impossible for the moment as the rosters are never accurate enough for this. All it would take is a handful of missing guys and poof the rosters, stats and transactions are incorrect.

Additionally, the kind of stuff that happens to irl rosters often causes teams to make moves that make no sense in the context of the game’s dynamics. Sorry to switch sports but I’m reminded of a year when the Lions’ real life roster had like 8 tight ends on it. There’s literally no reason for me to want that roster idiosyncrasy as part of my franchise. Just an example that I think applies here too, or at least can hypothetically apply here.

I have to agree with the below. I created a franchise team of all historical players, some with years of MLB experience, and yet in the first game the announcer and program ignored the prior service time and talked about their first MLB hit as if they were all rookies.

Sad things is all my wishes are for features to be back like Y2Y saves and importing previous years rosters. I hate not being able to export a player not in the game without any career stats yes we can edit service time but the game still treats a 15 year old vet as a rookie and going for rookie of the year because of it,.

I can export players in franchise I would love to be able to import players from roster to franchise.
I'd like to be able to import players from previous games.

Yeah been on wishlist for 10 years I have given up on that ever happening and with Y2Y saves gone we can't even import from previous years now.so can't see that happening for franchise, the only trick was CPU roster control on and export from from the year before y2y saves

frustrating so many vets in this years game with no career stats because of it

I would be happy if they only added great lineup logic/ roster construction. I would really be in heaven in world where I didnt need to control all 30 teams.

I’m starting to really get that itch to hear news about 22. Hoping there’s a much bigger next gen leap this year. First year on next gen was very disappointing for me.

I agree with you Beau! I'm huge MLBTS supporter, 20 years going strong. Huge baseball fan too. The game cost 69.99, a system that is supposed to be able to handle all the bells & whistles. I think SDS might the right one to handle this multiplatform project to be honest. I really hope they prove me wrong. But I need to something that screams Next-gen!!

usually it is Feb we get news after the Super Bowl. but last year the game was a month delayed and April might be the new release month. so we might not get any news till March like last year

COVID may have been a factor in late release last season. Looks like Mid April is the new release date. I can remember on the PS1 days when baseball games wouldn't be released until May-June.

Now that there's only 4 levels, I'd like to see full minor league rosters be playable. Give us High A and Low A.

1. Carry over saves
2. A complete overall on franchise, make it an editable league if you want 8 teams or 36 let that be an option.
3. Add more options to create a stadium, night games, turf, domes ect.
4. Jersey / team share
5. MTO has potential but let it be more user friendly, use custom rosters, they don't even update the rosters throughout the years seems like.
6. And carry over saves once again

Amen too that ! Could have created 20 seasons by now with that option.

Not sure how likely it is but really would love for SOTS to come back. Seems unlikely due to the reasons people think it was removed this year though
