Rotating interleague schedule. New menus aren’t features for franchise mode give us a actual thing that will give life to the mode.

Not sure how likely it is but really would love for SOTS to come back. Seems unlikely due to the reasons people think it was removed this year though

One minor thing I'd like to see is Sounds of the Show specific to each roster file. So a 1994 roster could have 1994 specific sounds and music.

I definitely hope so. I'm just a little worried since many have speculated they took it out b/c Microsoft does not allow music to be added on XBOX, and MLB wanted there to be feature parody between the two versions of the game. It's a little curious why it was still left in on PS4, though....so maybe there is still a chance

It's such a minor thing, but I'd honestly consider buying a PS5 if games such as MLB The Show allow custom sounds again.

Can't tell you the amount of hours I've spent over the years with custom sounds for different games.

Custom sounds plus roster sharing are 2 small features that make such a major difference to my gameplay experience.

Just fix the stats on players screens aka add a new column (super basic) so stat geeks dont see tot.... they see the new team when the player is traded in-season
Show minor leaguer player stats better.. id like to see it along with the mlb stats under the player page.
individual game logs too,
Basically please just steal as much as you can from out of the park baseball

For the create or custom team, we need Hex codes and/or RGB for uniforms and logos. I am colorblind as hell

I made my Rays to Expos unis and logos look good but my Marlins to Tritons (dark red) and Diamondbacks to Beavers (light green) was a headache

and make it for PC as well. The modding the community could do would be GLORIOUS. Imagine starting your Franchise in 1901 or 1871

and also, have the announcers (a new team next year please...Love the trio but we need new blood) go through ALL the minor league systems and NCAA and have all those first & last names in the database

Now that there's only 4 levels, I'd like to see full minor league rosters be playable. Give us High A and Low A.

That might be taxing on the database. I'd be happy with just an A or High A playable and the non playing 'holder' league as Rookie or Low A

Don't they still retire players in bunches for low talent to free up space? I know Madden and Fifa do it

every December & January, my top wish is an early March release.
come February is when I start thinking heavy beyond just having the game.
but this year is different. I wish, nay, I need , y2y saves to return in 22

Keep the selection of the helmet options and add:

1) no flaps

2) no helmet

Ability to turn off auto shifting for AI teams or create my own rule within franchise to ban the shift. On the game it just causes too many hits that shouldn't be. Kinda easy to lay back and time a late swing to hit the other way if you're looking fastball.

Maybe you can already do this and I don't know how BUT...

I'd love to customize Critical Situations so that I can turn on/off which situations I'd like to be alerted about.

For example, I'd love to turn off all Critical Situations except for milestones, so that if one of my players is about to cross over 3K hits, or set a new single season record, or throw a perfect game, I could be alerted about the situations I want to jump into and ignore the rest automatically.

The presentation in this game needs a lot of work. Why are stadium Jumbotrons dead? More stats and info on the Jumbotron. If anyone has gone to real games there’s always something happening. Crowds don’t scream any chants. The game feels lifeless from a presentation standpoint. Matt V needs to go. It’s been way too many years hearing the same guy.

Graphics need to be a lot better. I’m glad it runs at 60 fps on the ps5 and series x, but the textures are bad. The grass looks like carpet. Maybe give us a performance mode like madden at 120fps. Stadiums look extremely off in night games in the stands and bleachers. Everything is dark and the worst example is Fenway. The lighting on the field is fine but the stands are dark with barely any lights.

Franchise mode is extremely bare bones and online leagues are literally just tournament modes.

I want everything at this point. And you know what, I deserve it. These AAA studios have gotten so lazy making these sports titles every year, and they continue to rip us off with yearly "improvements". And they continue to laugh all the way to the bank...

I want SDS to blow me away with MLB 22, and to raise the bar to an unprecedented level. It's unlikely to happen because they are now all-in on micro-transactions in a monumental sell-out fashion, but what a way it would be to recapture those hardcore fans of the series... and to go against the grain of the evil empire that is EA. Instead of following the current, how about going against it? Business 101 : if you follow suit with everyone else, you won't sustain long-term success.

I want improved offline franchise gameplay, and a re-vamped, immersive experience. Give me AI that is on par with technology of 2022. I don't want another year of this recycled stale mode. I love the game and can make a great experience for myself with the existing mode, yes, but isn't it time we really give this mode some TLC?

Full disclosure: I have never bought a pack in The Show - I don't even know how to. I haven't ever touched Diamond Dynasty. I'm not knocking those modes - it's just not what I want from a sports gaming experience. When it comes to sports games, all I play are the offline modes, whether it be franchise, a post-season, or a one-off exhibition game. I know I'm in the minority, but how about we get a better offline experience?

Reinvent the wheel and reinvest in the offline gaming experience, SDS. That is what is on my wishlist for MLB The Show 22.
