Well, that can be thrown back at you. Let's try....too many people criticize this game over things THEY don't like that the rest of us think is fine. There's an army of them, comeback code, jerseys don't flop in the wind, they want to change the price of hotdogs in franchise, the dirt isn't dirt enough, on and on.
And to top it off, Countryboy, biggest fan of the game, you know THAT fanboy, didn't even buy the game one year as he was unhappy with some of the things, however, he's honest to realize that we all can't get what we want.

Have you been defending the game with your all? I promise I don’t pay enough attention to who is posting to notice. If not, this was not towards you. By replying in that fashion you are labeling yourself. Not me. I didn’t say “Everyone who buys the game is a fan boy”. I said “Those who defend it with their all”. And it doesn’t make me feel any kind of way.

We receive nastiness too. “just shut up and don’t buy the game”. As if our opinion doesn’t matter. Like we can’t express what we think.

Look lets not continue this any further because its a silly debate, but just understand that your first two sentences are basically attacking those who DON'T complain about the game enough. You can just come here and say you aren't buying the game without calling out people who plan on buying the game. I'm just trying to keep the forum free from unprovoked attacks.

It's true that you should be able to come here and voice your displeasure without getting attacked for that as well.

And you shouldn't....never buy a game that doesn't meet your needs/wants. Spend your money and time enjoying a different game.

There are other people who have a different set of needs/wants and this game meets them and they will buy the game and enjoy it.

          It's really not complicated.

Who said it was complicated? Or are you upset that I voiced my opinion on the forum? I’ve never told anyone not to purchase anything. What’s your point?

I’m not attacking those who don’t complain. Merely voicing my opinion about those who act like those of us who do, have no points. I’ve stated only what I have stated.

In the end your posts have added little value to the thread….. after your initial opinion you’ve just argued that people shouldn’t like the game basically…… you don’t like it and aren’t buying it, why are u here?

This is your opinion. All I’ve done is reply to those who have quoted me beyond my original post. I am here because I have every right to be. Whether I am in support of the product or not. I am actually hoping they reveal some information in regards to this topic to make me change my mind. Don’t be so pretentious.

Guys stop responding to his post. There’s a reason why he chose the wording he did and it was to get the types of responses he’s gotten.

Just ignore him and move on

I am not sure I will even be able to tell the difference. I mean I played it on the ps5 last year and thought it looked great. I am in my 40's so maybe old eyes but how much better do you honestly want it to look? Do you want Bryce Harper to grab you from the screen and kiss your forehead? I dont know to me it looked beautiful already

It’s not perse the graphics alone but also everything on the field being more true to life like open buttons on jerseys, necklaces that move, the ability to move in the batter’s box, dynamic weather where a game starts out dripping and slowly the westher clears up, some sort of player collision etc etc.

Agree with you on the weather and player collisions. There is so much momentum when a player is on the base path and if you make a mistake they are so slow to react and it seems like their momentum is so harsh where you will get thrown out. But then in the outfield a fielder will be full speed and catch a ball on the warning track and just glitch bounce off the wall or be full speed to the foul wall and just stop with no consequence. I want it to go both ways if a guy busts it to the wall to catch a fly ball then there should be a violent collision or based off fielding ability they pull up and have field awareness to avoid a broken face. Player collisions are broken as well had have been every year.

I can't show you what superior graphics will look like other than showing you a real life photo, but if you think there isn't any room to grow then I'm not quite understanding that comment. These graphics aren't exactly PS3-level, but considering a lot also hasn't seen upgrades since that time either, consider other games that were on PS3 at the same time (even if looking inferior to The Show) and the leaps that we've seen since then.

This game won't see a drastic visual change unless they replace the engine, though. I think they've been running with the same engine since MLB 2004, no joke (but has had same-y feelings since adopting the "Show" brand title).
