That’s the deciding factor on me buying the game or not this year.

Its not an available option in the Tech Test that I've seen.

No, franchise isn't accessible in the tech test

Its not an available option in the Tech Test that I've seen.

Hopefully it makes the final cut. Haven’t skipped a version of this game in over a decade but this may be the year and that makes me sad.

Also noticed they still have the option to play with a runner on 2nd to start extra innings.

Only played one game but looks sharper to me. Plays smoothly, and the fans are definitely more responsive. Like others have said it’s an MLB The Show game, looks like previous years with a lot of the same animations.

Has anyone heard where those new difficulty levels fall at? I would think somewhere between Rookie and Allstar. But then on the other hand I can see them going beginner, amateur, minor, rookie, Allstar and so on.

When scrolling through the difficulty levels they are laid out in the exact order you’ve placed them.(except you forget veteran)[emoji106]

I’m sure if it is in the retail game it will be patched to get it optional. Or at least I would hope so.

There’s a PLAYER NAME DISPLAY option in settings.

I, and believe he, were talking about the win percentage bar.

I don't understand the purpose for this in a video game. Maybe they will explain its reasoning in the presentation stream.

But in 100% honesty, I think its stupid.

Yeah as far as I can tell, it's a useless addition. Win probability means absolutely nothing to me if I'm actually playing the game. The only use I can think of for it is if there were a betting mini game or something but we all know that there's no chance of that being a thing.
