So is the Test Tech not available on Series X? It's showing unavailable in the Microsoft Store right now

Pick the listing in the store that just says MLB The Show Tech Test. After you have that, it will give you an option that says Manage. When you pick Manage, it will allow you to pick between the Series S/X or Xbox One versions to install.

If the option is added once the CBA is officially agreed to then you’re right. If they just completely ignore it until MLB 23 then it’s a really bad look.

Summed up my thoughts as well. I have played two full games and what stood out to me was a better balance with check swings, obviously the fielding is better than 20 overall. And the crowd audio was impressive.

Enough to move the needle for me to leave 20?

No.

Is it a upgrade from 21? Oh most definitely. But it is not enough of an upgrade from 20 for me to leave behind my long running franchises, roster content and SOTS.

Ditto - agreed on all points. I seriously doubt we will get anything significant in terms of Franchise. Hitting did overall feel better, but......I didn't notice much of a change in terms of fielding and pitching (agreed with fielder speed being too high).

Sorry if it was mentioned before in this thread but i really like the new injuries sliders :

We now have separate sliders from Gameplay injuries and Simulation injuries.

I know franchise players we’re in a negative trend but this is a really good addition.

Always hard to tell much from these things as I swear the main difference each year is just a slider adjustment to what default is, then they usually adjust it again in time for release, then again a couple of weeks later when the online crowd start complaining about something. Does look and feel pretty much like last year though

The real positive for me is that in game injury slider. They've not touched sliders in far too long, hopefully it's a sign of more changes as it's an area they've forgotten about a bit

At work,m but just played a quick 5 min of the switch version, overall look is pretty decent, little rough around the edges, pitching felt really good. I can definitely feels it running at 30fps which is a bummer was praying for 60fps. THe tegra1 chip can run games at 60fps not sure why its so hard. I will not hold my breath thinking they can get it to 60fps.

Looks like Chandler Bats is in the game for any other equipment gurus. That's pretty sweet cause it was one of the biggest bat brands not in the game

Just played a game of 2v2 Co-op.

Not sure if you can setup inning length as I wasn't the captain.

The game was only 6 innings but seemed to work well for it being an online game (little hitches here and there when the ball is hit).

It was Yankees vs. Yankees so it was double painful for me lol.

My Bronx Bombers won 1-0.

Pretty fun for what it is....

If this is what the final version of Switch will look like, they might as well put it on sale directly. It looks very aliased & low res and a lot worse then what the PS VITA version looked like. I know that was a toned down version, but better a toned down version then this one. Just my opinion of course.
