Wish the team color 3 would Aline with the pants worn instead of jersey.

That’s the only way it would work right. It throws it off when you have a team with a Jersey that they wear both home and away.

But what you said still doesn't answer my question about why some teams used to have a color as their team color 3 (like the Rays it used to be yellow) and now they don't.
That does answer the question. It was a universal change to have the equipment change between white and gray for home and road games. Teams like the Padres, Giants, and Brewers are set to cream cause their default home jerseys are cream instead of white.

It's absolutely ridiculous watching a game and seeing the same team have a solid color and multiple stripe styling. You can have 4 players wearing different styled socks.

The socks are part of the uniform.

With this trend and the ads coming (that look completely awful by the way) MLB uniforms have really gotten a lot worse.

Even before the Stance socks became a thing I can remember in the late 90s/early 2000s the Braves had two different styles of socks to choose from, one that had stripes and one that didn't. Andruw Jones and Mike Remlinger routinely wore socks with stripes.

I still think the biggest issue with the uniform selection process is not being able to choose sock and undershirt colors. Of course that could be MLB's doing and not SDS's.

The Orioles team color 3 is black. The Diamondbacks team color 3 is tan.

But even if that is the case, which I know is true cause I've seen it in action on previous versions of The Show and never made the connection, what would truly solve a lot of issues is allowing us to setup stuff for home and road. Most players wear different color gear based on home or road, especially catchers. Only having an option to setup for home games sucks.

Rangers will be wearing these soon, but the Show doesn't really add the actual throwbacks that teams occasionally wear, with the nike swoosh and everything

I was hoping the City Connect stuff being added would mean they would this year, but given that the Braves gold stuff didn't get in, I think it's just the City stuff. Which is better than nothing, I guess. But I'd love to see stuff like this make it in. The only throwbacks we'll probably see added will be for Field of Dreams. Maybe they'll do a program for the LLWS game too.

They did fix the Mets black alternate and added the Nike Swoosh. I think this throwback is already in the game minus the swoosh( I'll need someone to confirm the throwback is in or not), so maybe they patch it in? Just like the City Connects SDS probably had to wait for Texas to unveil it to the public first.

I think that was just fixing a mix up, though. Because minus the Swoosh, I believe the Mets jersey in the game was the 2021 version, not the 2000 version (because it had the blue skyline on the patch, not the black). But they still haven't added the Swoosh to the Rangers.

There is a version of this in the game (Home '77), but It's with the Throwbacks, not the alternates, and also doesn't have the new era or MLB logos on the cap. If they were going to add this, I think it'd be as a new uniform, not just adding the Swoosh to the existing ones (like how they did the White Sox and Yankees uniforms they wore for Field of Dreams that were already in the game sans swoosh/new era logos).

But I still think that if they were going to be adding uniforms besides City Connect/FoD, they probably would have added the Braves' sets after those were unveiled.

They aren't adding uniforms until they are actually unveiled so there is hope. For the Braves.......if you are talking about the Gold Trim stuff they wore Opening Week those will never be in the game. They never have. Every WS winner does this with their home opening series the following year and it's never been in the game. It's considered a one off basically.

The swoosh shouldn't be on the throwbacks anyway.

Wasn't on the original so no need to put it on now.

Also I would feel slightly more understanding (not much at all mind you) on the swoosh being on a throwback if Nike made the uniform they were wearing in the first place.

But Nike is the one manufacturing the throwbacks. It's a manufacturer logo, not like an artist's signature on a painting.

I get that about the gold uniforms, but they also didn't really add uniforms at all last year except for Field of Dreams (which were one offs). The fact that they didn't for that tells me it's very unlikely they're going to do it for any other uniforms added other than City Connect and Field of Dreams (and those are added because it's a big marketing thing for MLB). Maybe I'm wrong and these will be added in the next update, but I'll be surprised.

I think they added the Royals’ after 2015, but I don’t think any since. I remember because I had slight hope for the Cubs ones after 2016.

If I remember, the Royals actually wore them a little more throughout the year so that probably justified the inclusion more than the other teams’.

The royals decided to wear them throughout the season and modified them the following years and made them a full fledge alternate.
