Small sample size as I only played two games post patch. Seeing an uptick in swing and miss. Not significant but noticeable. To be safe I’d hold off on update until we get more definitive answer.

Glad to hear this, I had my meds changed on me Monday and wasn’t sure if that was the culprit or not.

Hello everyone.
PS4 user: UK

After panicking reading about the game crashing after the latest patch, I quickly disconneted from the Internet--went into "Downloads" and removed what I presumed was the "problematic Patch 6"!
However, in my haste/panic, I think I may have actually removed the previous patch (rather than the intercepted new one)----consequently I now notice that even the HUM controlled Teams in my 30 Team Franchise no longer "obey" my Batting Orders (eg, set up the TBJ with Springer leading off---to get to the pre game and Bichette is actually "set"---does this sound like the (idiot) result of me essentially removing the previous Patch (5?)

I am reluctant to connect back, and try and reload Patch 5, in fear of the reports of Patch 6 DOWNLOADING and freezing up my Franchise, or has this issue now been fixed, and Patch 5 is SAFE?

The freezing/crashing issue was fixed this morning with a server side update

Real small sample size to the point of being irrelevant, I just think its funny and it was an entertaining game and the irony is immense.

NYY @ O's in Spring Training.

O's win in 11th 9 to 8 with a 2 run walk of HR

Total of 11 HR's 5 for the O's and 6 for NYY

Hits were O's 17 and NYY 12

I just have not had this kind of explosion with the O's so far. But things happen, especially in the Spring and it most likely means nothing and is just an entertaining blip.

The game has been really unstable since the patch. I'm losing connection here & there where i never did before.

And then last night against the Blue Jays at Camden, after a big 8th inning heading into the 9th, the game throws me out back to the Xbox menu screen .

Just disappointing, I'd hit my 1st grand slam of the year, and was up 10-4. something that doesn't happen much with the orioles haha

Feels like they have lowered the foul ball rate by simply moving the foul ball frequency slider. As a result, I am seeing more swing and misses, but also more physics breaking balls down the line that curve towards foul and then straighten out to stay fair, sometimes even coming back. It looks a bit odd, like there is wind when there is no wind

I’ve noticed some weird things to. Had a home run I was super early on that normally would have been foul pre patch. It looked weird and almost straightened out just at the end to stay fair. Had to watch the replay because it looked weird

Yeah, my game as crashed a few times randomly even with the fix. Not every time I try to play a franchise game like on Friday. But definitely more crashes then I was getting before.

Don't forget about the whiny RTTS players who got a fix, those MTO players who got a fix and definitely don't forget those whiny franchise players who got a fix....

C'mon man.....this was bug introduced in a patch that had impact across the game. Blaming one group of players just because you have any issue with them/the mode they play is just ridiculously off-base.

SDS screwed up, point blank...has nothing to do with any fan base.

I get why you may be offended, but come on man. Go to the show.com they were the only ones making repeated posts to fix the hitting. The hitting was fine in my opinion. I get you shouldn’t be able to hit a ball a mile out of the zone, but when you are playing with a fake batting cursor (pci) and your camera zoomed in to the strike zone these types of variances are going to happen.

I don’t think gameplay patches should be universal and would be fine with them limiting them to the competitive setting

This is something I hope to see corrected with the release of every new game when it comes to spring ball, and that is games tied after 9 innings end in ties. They don’t count in the standings, but the team and individual stats do. That is how real life spring training games work.
