They're still off, but you're also looking at the wrong shoe. The ones in the game are the metal spikes.

The toe part isn't right, but it isn't as off as your picture makes it seem. Looks like they modeled the line on the inside of the shoe and erroneously applied that to the outside.

It’s literally the exact same thing but metal spikes lol still can’t change the logo color and the toe design is wrong.

What point did I miss? Yes, they are lacking in the detail part of some equipment. And they rarely fix any of it with a patch.

You're right. But if someone is going to be calling devs "lazy", they should at least take the time to screenshot the right shoe. Not doing so is "lazy".

lol Are you really splitting hairs to say it is no the same shoe because it wasn't the metal spikes?

And I'm not sure you can ever say lazy since they work for a company. Not sure the "devs" have the autonomy to to fix color blocking on shoes if they want to. They probably get assigned specific tasks to do.

But equipment has always been terrible in this game. The whole ui or system that equipment is housed in is from like 10 years ago, we dont have the most worn nike cleat, they dont have the correct color blocking on almost any shoe or batting glove, 90% of equipment has logos where you cannot change the color, we have the same selection of 15 or so colors we did 10 years ago, all chains are tucked in when in I'm pretty sure it is rare for a player to wear a big gold chain tucked in... the list goes on

But I dont see it improving anytime soon. It just is what is right now. Just gotta hope for the best.

The sad thing about this show is the line around the toe is jagged. Like they got a kid to draw the line. Really no excuse for that.

Facts. It just completely messes up the aesthetic of the game in my opinion. I want my players to wear what they wear on the field and that’s something that desperately needs more attention to detail.

A lot of catchers in the league who wear a hockey style mask, still wear the All-Star MVP System7 helmet. Guess what SDS did?

That's what pisses us equipment gurus off. They'll add pointless stuff that nobody wears IRL, but they'll take out gear that players have been wearing for years and still do today.

How many batting gloves do they have in the game that nobody ever wears? Why are the Griffey cleats still in?

The toe section is wrong and you can't change the color of the shadow detail on the 'N'.

At least half the cleats in this game have the wrong color sections and/or you can't even change colors on certain parts of the cleat. I'm baffled why SDS can't ever get it right. Same thing with batting gloves.

IDK. I love editing equipment to be realistic as much as the next guy, and there are definitely some equipment items in game that aren't very close to the color blocking IRL, but I feel like it's kind of silly to be "baffled" that they don't allow every tiny little detail on equipment to be editable. There's always going to be limits

I'm obsessed with equipment, part of what makes this game feel more authentic is to try to replicate what players do wear in real life, so with that being said, is sad that we have batting gloves from brands like Rawlings, 44, AXE, Cooperstown, etc, wasting space. I haven't seen players using them, the same with some cleats like the Griffey Jr.



I am grateful that we have licensed equipment but its been like 10 years now and it feels like we're stuck in that part of the game.



Look at 2K, you can customize almost every aspect of the shoes, yet we can't even change the colors of some parts of the cleats. Sometimes we can't even replicate the photo they use to present the model of the equipment because of the color blocking lol.



I wish they at least let us use the color wheel that we already have int the game for the skin tones and hair color for the equipment too.
