I'm new to this thread so sorry if some of this stuff has already been mentioned.
I really wish that the regular Nike elbow guard was included in the game. Mike Trout and others wear this version that just covers the elbow, but the game only has the Nike Diamond Elite Elbow Guard that also covers the elbow and the top half of the forearm.
I don't see it happening in this game but I'd like to see the batter's hand guards included. This is a whole new piece of equipment so I don't see it being added this year in a patch. This equipment has been worn by players for a while so I'm not sure why it wasn't included in this year's game.
I'm also hoping that with Ohtani being a former cover athlete that this would lead to New Balance adding more equipment to the game. Speaking of Ohtani, I noticed that he wears his shin guard under his uniform as opposed to over the pants. It's a small detail but would be cool to have an option to wear the shin guard under the uniform, similar to how you can select pants that cover the top of your cleats or just above the cleats.
Once again, I'm still bummed out that they took out the Jordan 10 cleats. These were in MLB 21 but then got removed last season and they are still missing. Mookie Betts still uses them in his rotation, but I think he's been mostly wearing the Jordan 5's so far. He was using Jordan 7's during the WBC.
