I don’t know why everyone is surprised about the lack of equipment additions. This has repeated it self for at least the past 2 years, they don’t add much at launch but through the season they end up adding a handful of equipment. This is just like 2K, madden. They all continue to add equipment through the year.

There is no comparison. 2k added over 20 models this year. They start the year with the shoes that are released and they update when new models release. The show is not even starting with the correct models from 2 years ago. They've had the same Adidas, Nike, UA batting gloves for the last 3 years.

The ridiculous part of this all is they only need to add like 3 different shoe models considering that's what like 90% of players use.

This has to be the worst year in terms of new equipment that was added. At least last year we finally got Aasics, Chandler bats and G-Form batting gear. I can't believe they didn't add Bruce Bolt given how many guys now use their batting gloves. I'm going to hold out hope that they add the new Nike Huarache and New Balance cleats in a future patch since they did add the Huarache 3's during a mid-season patch a few years ago the first year that they came out.

Not related to this thread necessarily but when are we going to be able to set Glove colors to Team Colors 1/2.

Nothing is more of an eyesore than seeing an Oakland A get traded to the Yankees and having a Green glove

We desperately need Bruce Bolt BGs too, I have no idea what gloves even look slightly similar to them in game

I just noticed that Under Armour UA Gameday Armour shin guard is missing as an option to select when hitting. The only options for shin guards are:

• EvoShield Pro-SRZ 2.0 Leg Guard
• 44 Pro Dual-Cut Shin Guard
• Adidas Pro Series
• ASICS Batter Leg Guard
• Franklin Shok-Sorb
• G-Form Elite Batter's Leg Guard

• Marucci Leg Guard
• Nike Diamond Elite Leg Guard
• Tater Batter's Leg Guard

I'm still amazed that they haven't fixed the secondary color on sleeves. Worked fine in 21, but last year and now this year, it just stays white. Seems like a small thing, but it's annoying and should be fixed

Three years ago you could change the color! This drives me crazy! If it worked three years ago what broke it to make it not work for the last two years? And why hasn’t been fixed for two years now?!?! I think I even made a bug entry on the show website to get it fixed but still no. I guess to some people it’s not important enough to fix! UGH!

Same here. Also, I've seen about two players in the league ever wear any Nike compression sleeve with a full design on it. For years I've just wanted a blank compression sleeve with a Nike logo on it like everyone wears.

The Nike Vapor cleats also still have the same color glitch that they've had since the first year they were added to the game

They usually add them every year. But I think the way the shoe release schedules kind of work are the new harper and trout shoes come out in like the July-ish timeframe along with low top nikes that they have in game. I believe they usually patch those new ones in around then.

They patched shoes in randomly last year but I think those were like glitched shoes that were removed.

They obviously dont give us any information and we know they CAN patch shoes in but who knows if we'll get any of the shoes that should have been in at release.

Also the annoying part considering in 24, Nike will probably have a new model lol Although the Huarache cleats from last year seemed to have a 2 year run.
