1st of all thank you for your input. Everybody has a point of view and that's what makes this country great.

Lighten up guys. I thought it was a funny joke and a funny name not everybody has the same sense of humor. That's okay Some of you are missing the point The point is I'm a roster builder. This is a video game and nothing should be taken away from our imagination or from history of the game and yes the Indians were once called the spiders. Why not include that too? Why take names away from teams from the past? If you don't like the name ignore it.
If for some reason SDS can't put indians on there created team list can they at least offer The tribe.

I'm truly impartial on this topic. But when I read their post, I did not infer anger or anything like that. It was definitely an odd, poorly-constructed segue by the poster which added nothing to their post - but it was not some sort of crazy rant.

Just an observation, but YOU generally seem to be the one that is quite sensitive whenever someone brings this up. And I get it why you would be, but when someone infers anger that isn't there; usually that person is dealing with a bit of their own. And to be fair, written text is not the best way of having a discussion like this, as it can be easy to mis-read a person. But if you were as accepting of the situation as you say you are, you probably wouldn't have responded at all.

I've tried to go the route of using another team but I end up losing interest. I like the idea but doesn't work for me long term

I dont mind Cleveland changing their name but I will never play a franchise as the Guardians, there just cant be too many more worse choices to call your team. so unimaginative and unoriginal. AFAIC the Guardians are an XFL team in Orlando. if they wanted an unoriginal name, they should have went with bulldogs or wildcats. when Cleveland rebranded to start Show 22 last spring, the name didnt stand out to bother me but by July I realised I dont even want to play against them, I'd just rather sim those games. I'm just hoping when Atlanta eventually inevitably rebrands, they pick a name nobody else has. the minor leagues always do an excellent job of coming up with new names. hopefully, Cleveland will do the right thing in a couple years and reboot as the Gardeners. otherwise I may never play another season in the AL Central in franchise

Can’t believe Cleveland didn’t rebrand as the Commanders. That’s a great name.

I'm gonna miss playing as the White Sox as my AL Central team.
I wish the Studio would configure it to where we have custom divisions.
must be the stodgy MLB that wont allow it for whatever reason

As of now I plan to have Bob Nutting sell the Pirates to a Cohen type owner. I will play year one with the current roster and then have loads of money to spend on free agents like Ohtani, Urias, Nola, etc and build a team the fans of Pittsburgh deserve. Playing in the best ballpark in the game will just be a bonus.

This post is missing a poll.

I've spent a lot of time in the last few years with the Mariners, A's, Orioles, Rangers and Tigers.

I'm bringing it back to the Diamondbacks this year after full spring training rosters are released. I started toying with Armor & Sword clean screen setup with sliders and incorporated JWDixon's approach of weekly storyline events that make the season interesting.

The combo of those 2 items have absolutely sucked me back into franchise and playing every single game for the season.
