Out of curiosity, what fictional players/rosters are you using?

I started a franchise, made 30 team logos from the vault, did a fantasy draft and immediately simmed 22 years and am playing from there until the roster gurus make some.

        • Some legends cannot play with their numbers in their original teams (ie Hank Aaron will play with #45 after being moved to the Braves, the same goes for Glavine).
        • Mets Alternate Road uniform has white pants instead of gray pants
        • Mizuno B-303 and Mizuno B-303 Pro are the same batting gloves
        • Simulating a Franchise can have several players with unrealistic stats (many 1.000 FLD%, 50 HR, .400 hitters, etc)

All platforms / Franchise / MTO

Pitcher Velocity & break never improves or digress'. Your young pithing stud will have the same velocity and break attribute from 18 to 40 and there is nothing you can do about it. There is even training available but it never does anything. Is this by design?

It’s by design. Same with stamina.

These have never progressed or regressed which is very silly.

I have not tried this myself ( just bought the game this afternoon not installed yet) but this is what I read.

I actually did started this today and simmed to about 2030, as if I don't see any good fictional rosters pop up I guess I'll want to make my own, and the generated CAPs don't seem as bad to me as other people make them out to be.

I'm wondering, how long did it take you to sim 22 seasons? And is there any way to make it so that you can just sim through straight without the game stopping you with multiple prompts every single season (draft starts today, AA playoffs start today, this guy got traded, that guy got signed, etc etc).

It slows the whole process down a fair bit, but as far as I know there's no way to not control a team to avoid these messages?

Also, how does the stability and balance of the game world look so far when it's 100% CPU generated CAPs?

Now all pitches are counting and even with stamina at 9, foul frequency at 1 it's a miracle if you're not over 100 pitches in the 5th inning.
Super unfortunate. It's so much less fun without quick counts- and now starters can't make it past 5 innings.

In Franchise if you are controlling multiple teams you can only actually draft with one of those teams per year right now. You could draft with multiple teams last year.

I love what they've done with the scouting/draft revamp, but as someone who was going to start a Franchise with multiple teams that's pretty game breaking. I hope they fix it.

No longer able to see pitch count by pitch type when using d-pad to display pitcher stats. This has been in the game for a long time. The Google analytics are cool and valuable but game should still track/retrieve pitch counts for each pitch type. Doesn't need to replace the new analytics menu but another screen w/n Google Stats for this data is necessary.

Yeah, nothing decent in the vault yet but good rosters take time and the gurus on OS do a great job.

Took me little over an hour to sim 22 seasons and there is not, to my knowledge, a way to speed up the process although I did shut off the critical moments, it's called something like that anyway. Still stops quite often while simming regarding the items you mentioned.

I'm fairly happy with the results although at least for me the player ratings are a bit high. Lot of players in the mid to upper 80s, not enough in the 70s range and none that I've seen in the 60s, at least not in the starting lineups. Didn't see too many in the 90s range.

Looking forward to, I believe his online OS ID is Caufield, comes up with as he is doing a fictional roster and indicated it should be done by the end of April

Until then this will have to do as I only do franchise mode with fictional rosters and custom logos. I find that when I do a MLB franchise my expectations of individual players plays are a bit much or a bit lacking depending on the players or team and takes away from my enjoyment, if that makes sense.

I just started Road to Show yesterday. When constructing my players looks and gear, he's unable to wear batting gloves. I will switch it to two batting gloves, and when I accept the changes, the batting gloves come off. I am unable to hit with gloves. Has anybody else experienced this?

still on track for end of April to replace all players with service time, plus all players with no service time but who arent fully editable. I simmed 100 seasons into the future and overalls look good to me. But I will edit their potentials.
I will put a second version in the vault at the end of May editing names of the remaining minor leaguers and free agents
