Re: Uniform schedules
Yeah, the way Nike has been allowed to force teams hands with the uniforms just bites. They'll make countless tons of uniforms for Oregon and other college football teams but then turn around and tell MLB teams they're only allowed so many uniforms. The hypocrisy is astounding.Comment

Re: Uniform schedules
I'm looking at the April uniform schedule for each team. My guess is the red jerseys for the Diamond Backs will be gone soon. Looks like they've been relegated to Sunday road games only. The black ones are being worn much more often this season so far.Comment

Re: Uniform schedules
I noticed that Nationals haven’t worn their red jersey this season. I’m wondering if they’re ditching it.Comment

Re: Uniform schedules
Could be. Or maybe it'll be like the Rockies black jerseys and the A's yellow. Still an option but never worn. The Nationals seriously need to wear the red caps at home though. Those white panel ones they're wearing now are awful.Comment

Re: Uniform schedules
It's possible, but teams sometimes do weird stuff with alts early in the year. Like the Braves wore their blue jerseys for the first 3 games of the season. Then didn't wear them again the rest of the month. Then wore them all 3 games in Miami (but wore gray for both road games in NY on 5/1).

I said I was gonna do a spreadsheet of all teams’ schedules when April’s graphics were up, but, looking at them now, so many teams are completely random that it seems pointless to try.

Re: Uniform schedules
MLB is doing what most NBA Teams do and wear the City edition on Fridays as the Rangers will wear them every Friday home game. Some clubs wear their city connects for a weekend series (mostly Marlins) and others will break them out randomly during the week (Boston/California/San Francisco).Proud season ticket holder for the Oklahoma City ThunderComment

Re: Uniform schedules
Here's what I can tell:
Orioles: Friday home games still look like Black Jerseys. But they've only worn Orange twice (both on Saturday, though, fwiw)
Rays: Devil Rays on Friday home games, Powder Blue Sunday home games. Random the rest of the time, mostly wearing Powder and Navy
White Sox: Throwbacks Sunday home games.
Royals: City Connect Friday home games. Powder blue for home day games, royal blue for road day games. White/Gray for night games.
Twins: Cream jerseys Sunday home games.
Astros: City Connect Monday home games. Either Orange or Blue for Sunday games.
Mariners: Cream fauxbacks on Sunday home games. I think City Connects might end up being Fridays (the Teal jerseys used to be Fridays, but hadn't been this season)
Rangers: Powder Blue Sundays at home.
Braves: Red at home on Fridays, City Connects on Saturdays.
Marlins: Teal throwbacks at home on Fridays. City Connect at home on Saturdays. Black jerseys on Friday/Saturday away games (looks like that might be exclusively a road jersey now?).
Mets: Black Jerseys for Friday home games.
Phillies: Powder Blue for Thursday home games. Cream for Home Day games.
Nationals: I think they might still be doing their City Connect Saturday Home games, but they did one on a Friday.
Cubs: Will probably start wearing their City Connects for Friday Home Games in June (that's what they did last year).
Brewers: City Connects for Friday Home. Pinstripes for Saturday and Sundays home. Cream for Monday-Thursday home.
Cardinals: Cream jerseys for Saturday Home. Powder Blue Saturday Away. Navy caps for Sunday home. Eventually, they'll likely wear navy caps for a handful of away games.
Diamondbacks: City Connects Fridays at home.
Rockies: City Connects Saturdays at home.
Padres: City Connects Fridays at home, Camo on Sundays.
Giants: City Connect Tuesday home games. Orange will probably still be Friday home games. The black SF jerseys on Saturdays at home. I think they probably had trouble getting the jerseys, since they didn't wear the Orange until their second home Friday game, and they didn't wear the SF jerseys for the first time until their 3rd home Saturday.

Re: Uniform schedules
Rangers
City Connect Friday Home
Home White/Red Cap Saturday
Powder Blue Sunday Home (sometimes worn w/red cap)
Cubs are wearing standard gray away more than the blue
Mariners & Rays wearing Navy as away primary and for select home games. Mariners wearing Teal on select away (clashed w/Phillies 1980 Throwback) and Rays wearing Columbia Blue for select away.
Blue Jays wearing Powder Blue Fauxback more than Royal Blue Alternate
Astros wearing Orange for select away, mainly sticking with standard gray.
A's mostly sticking w/Home & Away but wearing Kelly Green more on road.
Red Sox wearing Navy Away and Red Home more than before and not just on Fridays.Proud season ticket holder for the Oklahoma City ThunderComment

Re: Uniform schedules
It seems like the Orioles are completely random on weekends now, so far in 2023. They wore black tops for 2 Saturdays (1 was a double header), 1 Friday and 1 Sunday in April. Orange tops only 2 out of 5 Saturdays.
Their staple used to be black tops for Fridays and orange tops for Saturdays. Any other day white or gray.
So far in May they have worn their black tops Friday, Saturday and Monday (?) the 8th. Which sucks because their orange top, which they haven't worn yet in May, is SO much better than the black one.Last edited by Skippy85410; 05-12-2023, 05:30 AM.Comment
