    Uniform schedules

For baseball, it's mostly not. Some teams are on a set schedule, but for some teams the starting pitcher decides. Or someone else, but still late in the process. So there isn't a league site where every team has punched in what they're wearing months in advance.
This is correct. The NBA sets the entire schedule centrally before the start of the year, in consultation with its’ teams’ preferences.

The NFL requires each team to set their jersey and helmet schedule before season’s start, but teams are free to choose pants and socks week-to-week.

The NHL is similar, each team submits their desired schedule for the entire season and the league coordinates clashes.

MLB allows teams to decide the day of. The schedules are team-imposed and often deviated from. About the only hard policy is the visitors have to have their grey shirt packed because both teams can’t wear similar-colored jerseys.

Even that's not a rule anymore, as there are two teams (Mariners and Rays) who outright don't have a gray jersey (though I'm sure they're both required to bring both of their solid color alternates on the road with them).

My bad, I forgot about those two. The road team is always allowed to wear grey if they have one (even against the Nats’ grey CC) or can wear a contrasting color.

Last season it was odd seeing the Mariners in their Northwest Teal tops playing the Blue Jays in their "Fauxback" Powder Blue set.

Yeah, I actually feel like the Navy uniforms give better contrast than the teal. Or really gray. Maybe it's just me, but while I love the powder blue throwbacks teams are wearing, I hate that so many wear them at home. They were worn as an alternative to gray, they were road uniforms. They should stay that way.

Same, but I get it. Merchandise sales mean you want to wear as many different uniforms in front of your fans as possible. Look at Seattle or Tampa: every one of their five jerseys and 2/3 caps was worn at home regularly. The only thing exclusive to the road was grey pants, and nobody’s buying pants. Another example is SF, who use 5 different jerseys and 2 caps at home, but wear the exact same grey set for every away game.

Counterpoint, the Braves. Obviously, they don't wear gray at home, but they also didn't wear Navy at home (however, it's possible the change to their Navy jerseys this year probably means they'll wear those at home some this year).

There are a few teams that have exclusive road uniforms. The Padres brown jerseys, the Cubs blue, the Brewers blue, the Pirates black "Pittsburgh", the Cardinals powder blue (they do it right), the Phillies red, Red Sox blue, Guardians blue, and Royals blue.

A graphic chronicle of the baseball uniforms worn by the Arizona Diamondbacks throughout multiple Major League Baseball seasons, beginning with the 2012 MLB season.
