It completely went over your head.

I know they are going to put the city connect jerseys in everyone knows that. Since Nike is involved SDS will do all of that. That's fine. It's a business. Then you have some teams that have jerseys spanning back several decades. Which is cool too. But then you have other teams that are missing multiple important jerseys. Like they don't give damn and will just put something in. Almost like they are playing favorites with certain teams.

Jerseys are a smaller part of the game so it's not a major deal but the process seems to make no sense. The Mets have had the same jersey set up for years.

NBA 2k did an amazing job adding multiple throwback uniforms (some 80's, 90's, 2000's are missing). Madden still won't add missing Away throwback uniforms for several teams and SDS got it right this year by adding the missing San Francisco 1983-1993 Away uniform as the Home was already in. Also the 1995 Orioles Home is in but no Away. The Cubs 1982-1993 Home uniform is in and the Away 1982-1989 is in but not the 1990-1993 Away. Also some clubs are missing important historic alternate uniforms (94 Brewers, 94 Blue Jays, 75 Athletics, 02 Athletics, 84 Mets Away, 79 Orioles, 79 Pirates Black Tops & Yellow Trousers, 97 Marlins Vest, 02 Twins, 98 Padres, 06 Nationals). Then you have The Brewers and White Sox who have no classic 1980's sets in the game.

Yeah, I had seen an article that said it was the first time, and when I pictured their road jerseys, their old ones (that said "Orioles") were what popped into my brain.

Bumping this as I’ve started playing through a March to October, a mode which does not allow you to select uniforms. I noticed in MTO teams do wear their “softball tops” occasionally. So that code that used to govern franchise seems to remain elsewhere. FWIW I have yet to see any team wearing their City Connect yet even on days of the week where they should.

California breaking out the beautiful 1973-1992 beautiful Home Throwbacks tonight against Pittsburgh in interlague play. Too bad Pittsburgh didn't wear their stand road uniforms that are similar to the 1990-1996 set and we could have had a hypothetical World Series uniform match-up ala 1990-1992 before California switched to the "Angels in the Outfield" set. California should bring back the iconic Home uniform as an official "Alternate" then they'd have five uniforms in total.

I actually got pretty close with the two alternates.

Anyway, the Red Sox are going to have a schedule next year according to Alex Cora. At home, they're going to wear White jerseys Sunday-Thursday, Red on Friday, and City Connect on Saturday. On the road, it's going to be Gray Saturday-Thursday, and the blue jerseys on Fridays.

                    Big bump on this thread.

I put together a visual guide of each club's uniform schedule for my own reference. Here's a link to my spreadsheet.

I noticed this year a lot of NBA teams have the uniforms they are going to wear for the game on their official site's schedule page. I wish some MLB teams would adopt this.

The NBA has every uniform they're going to wear for every game predetermined before the season begins. The NFL does too, I believe (for jerseys anyway, I don't think so for pants).

For baseball, it's mostly not. Some teams are on a set schedule, but for some teams the starting pitcher decides. Or someone else, but still late in the process. So there isn't a league site where every team has punched in what they're wearing months in advance.

Cleveland on the list. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

This will leave the Yankees who aren’t going to have a CC and the A’s who don’t know where they’ll play next season as the only teams to not have a City Connect Uniform.

The NBA started doing this right when they switched to NIKE for the 2017-18 season.
