    Re: Franchise Attendance?

Can someone explain to me why a stadium is empty but in the 8th inning if the home team is down by a run or two it increases and almost full. I understand when the home team is loosing it will decrease but why increase in the 8th and 9th innings?

Oh wow, I never knew that number in the game log changed.

Yes, that's always been a gripe!!

Yeah I just drew 25,000 for a Padres vs Mets game on a Tuesday night and then a Wednesday afternoon game with the same two teams draws 40,000 the next day

I dont know about this. I played a franchise with the Rays and my lowest attendance(7000) was vs the red sox. Usually the red sox and yankees draw 15-20,000.
