I dealt with Miami and that issue recently myself. It seemed like every pitcher they brought into the game was left handed. It was nuts.

The change up has always destroyed me in this game.

I just faced Strider and did surprisingly well. I swing at every fastball like it’s 99 mph no matter who the pitcher is so facing him actually worked to my advantage, plus he only has one breaking ball so my timing was pretty solid against him. Unfortunately once they took him out my offense went down the toilet

That damned Circle Change-up thrown by literally anyone. I either swing through it, or if I do hit it, it goes nowhere like I just hit a bowling ball.

This also is a killer for me. Anyone here have issues with sliders or cutters breaking inside? Just looks so good coming down the middle, and breaks inside at the last moment. I've swung at some pretty terrible pitches coming inside, I see to have a much easier time laying off outside stuff.

If its high speed, I don't even try, honestly. If one of those is coming towards my batter, I have absolutely no idea whether its going to be in the middle of the plate or hit me, so I don't swing unless there are two strikes, and just hope its a ball.

I’ve struck out on sliders that hit me multiple times

I don't think that I ever had prior to this year, but I do every few games now. If its strike three, even if it hits you square in the chest while you swing, you're out now.

Also annoyingly, on these balls I'm always called for a strike 3 even if I tried to check my swing, even when I'm usually decent at checking my swing and playing as a batter with better than average VIS/DISC.

Oh, and for whatever reason, most submariner/sidearmers I can get a feel for, but Adam Cimber out of all people almost guarantees that I will either make the weakest contact or strike out. I've had 3 pitch innings against him, I've had him throw multiple immaculate innings against me, but just him. Blows my mind the AI takes him out of the game ever when I'm batting.

Any knuckleball pitcher doesn't matter. I was happy when R.A Dickey retired in real life

Don't think I've faced him in this current iteration of The Show, but JOHNNY CUETO always gives me fits.

Was Charlie ever technically in a baseball video game?

Ken Griffey Jr baseball for the SNES was released the same year as his final season in the bigs with the Marlins, but other than Junior himself, all of the players were fake.
