Injuries? What is the deal?

Hi everyone, Am i missing something or is there a injury bug in this game. I'm not knocking the game. I am enjoying it. Just find it weird there are no injuries yet in 2 months into the franchise. Im sure their is a post somwhere here. I just didn't see it. Any feedback is welcomed.

All I can suggest is that the majority of the franchise guys usually have their injury sliders around 8 for played games and around 6 for simmed games.

I’ve found that at 7 you don’t see any and at 8 you see more than I’d like. It feels like nearly every game someone is leaving with an injury on 8

My first game of my franchise I had 2 pitchers from the team I was playing go out in the first inning. So I was wondering if there was a bug the other way.

So from 7 to 8 on the sliders is a big difference in your opinion. Thanks ill check it out

Do you have roster control turned on?

It is an option when you start up a franchise.

If so, injuries will be turned off no matter what. You can not even set manual injuries.

This is a common mistake that happens multiple times per game here as people confuse it for 30 team control. The only way to fix it is to start over.

Funky being new to this game, what IS the difference between 30 team control settings and roster control turned on?

Everyone can do what they want with their own game. I just never understood why anyone would want injuries on in any sports video game. I understand the realism aspect of it, but why wouldn't you want the best players playing all the time?

I've seen injures mostly in my minor league teams but a couple in games I've played.

Because injuries happen in sports I have to have it on and get some. Never really has many over the years. So if I got one that was day to day I’d 15 day DL them and if it was 15 day worthy I’d 60 day them just to have some.

My first show which was 07 my fav all time player David Wright got hurt and at the end of the season it turned out it was career ending. I loved it and did not start over.

I don’t like when the cpu gets them because I prefer facing them at full strength but I leave them on because it forces me to use a larger group of players. I’m not trying to play 162 games with the same 26 players
