Hi everyone, Am i missing something or is there a injury bug in this game. I'm not knocking the game. I am enjoying it. Just find it weird there are no injuries yet in 2 months into the franchise. Im sure their is a post somwhere here. I just didn't see it. Any feedback is welcomed.

I found out too late that if you are doing 30 team control. injuries are auto turned off.

I have played injuries on 8 and simmed set to 6. Lost Kirk for a minimum stay on the IL and now Bichette to the same minimum stay. That’s me one month into the season.

Oh , and I play every pitch of every game

I’ve found that at 7 you don’t see any and at 8 you see more than I’d like. It feels like nearly every game someone is leaving with an injury on 8

I have my injury slider set at 6. The last 5 games I've had Rodon leave 2 pitches into a start with a groin pull, Nestor Cortez hit by a ball leading to 15 days on the IL, Harrison Bader leave with a shin bruise after stealing 2nd, and Oswaldo Cabrera missed 2 games with a bruised hand.

I found out too late that if you are doing 30 team control. injuries are auto turned off.

You turn injuries On/Off/Manual anytime you want. Just go to the Options for the profile that you have assigned in your franchise and change injuries to On.

I have the injury setting at default and I see constant injuries from my minor league players, like one a week it seems.

Mlb can be hit or miss, usually just small injuries that last a few days

Everyone can do what they want with their own game. I just never understood why anyone would want injuries on in any sports video game. I understand the realism aspect of it, but why wouldn't you want the best players playing all the time?

I like them cause it adds to the franchise. If someone gets hurt some one else has to step up. Of course I want the best players but I’d also like to actually use my farm system instead of just from sending guys down who suck.

I always turn off pre existing injuries when I start a new sports franchise and then whatever happens in it is my own world. But I hate starting a new franchise with pre existing injuries.

I set my injuries to where they were on Opening Day. From there, I let the game do what it will. So, for instance, in my franchise Bryce Harper starts the season on the IL. But Jacob deGrom is still active on the Rangers.

So from 7 to 8 on the sliders is a big difference in your opinion. Thanks ill check it out

I do not know about someone getting injured every game, but I have found that I have to set injuries at 8 for both played and simmed games to get a realistic number of injuries/disabled list population.

Not intending to hijack this thread, but for some reason, i can't post a new thread. I have a question regarding the IL. Playing a franchise using the Nationals. I keep getting a message that I cannot put anymore people on the IL, because i don't have enough players available. i use the same exact transactions that the Nationals use, to the day. Why do i keep getting this message, and how do i fix it?

My guess is you have a minimum amount of players on your overall roster that you need to have, so you probably need to sign some players in order to not be short.

You require a minimum number of players on the team in the MLB, AAA, and AA. With only 15 total spots available to put on the IL, if the team has more than that on it, you can't do it. The real MLB has more levels and more total players on the roster. This is part of what makes trying to mimic real transactions a challenge.

Mine is on 6. 9 games in:

Zack Wheeler 1-2 month injury on Opening Day 2nd inning.

Jose Alvarado 1-6 days lower back injury ( Game 8)

22 games in and you can add

Jake Cave 1-2 week injury
Rhys Hoskins 1-6 days

CPU in game injuries:
2 Yankees pitchers. 1 was 1-6 days and the other was 1-2 weeks.

In game injury slider at 6. Games played on HOF.

This was amazing. Im playing the dodgers and stanton hits a pitch that leaves his bat at 107 mph and hits walker buheler in the head. He goes down and the catcher and coach come to the mound. He gets up and waves them off and continues to pitch. No injury, nothing. I mean come on now. There has to be a injury issue here.

At least Joe Ryan was taken out of the game. Buheler wasnt.
