Anyway... Unrelated to quoting above...

I think the next step to make the draft better is to expand rosters. Once you expand rosters, you can expand the draft pool of players and by extension the draft.

I would settle for 120 player rosters. Give us the 26 from MLB down to A, then 16 players in rookie. Don't need to even make A ball playable in game to start. Though that would make it better. If we get rosters to 120, I may consider looking at 24.

Yes, no need for anything bu Triple and Double A to be playable, but lets have a more realistic minor league organization to oversee. Having expanded rosters and expanded draft go hand in hand. It would be so much more rewarding to develop a diamond in the rough when having to draft 20 playersas opposed to a paltry 7.

I agree on expanded rosters. I think they’ve done all they can do with it until they take that step. I don’t play any of the minor league games so I don’t care about them making A ball or rookie ball playable. But we at least need some sim stats.

On something else that I think would make franchise better. I really miss when we could set concession stand prices, set prices for items in the team store, and set promotional nights. I know those are things a lot of people probably wouldn’t want to deal with, but I thought it was really cool to have in the game. I especially miss the promotional nights option. I loved sitting down before opening day and picking what nights I wanted them to be on throughout the whole season.

I look forward to Sunday games to see how my scouted players get scouted and what their potential is. I'm playing the Dodgers so I have the 28th pick so I found one player that is MLB ranked 80 but team ranked 10 so I scouted him. I was excited for the next Sunday to see what they scouted in him. Ended up dropping down in my rankings.

I hope it is something that they build and improve upon each year and not just create it and leave it be.

This. I don't care how much lipstick they put on their version of the draft, I can't kiss the pig that is a 7 round draft. Until (if ever)there are at least 125 man rosters, and more than double the amount of rounds to at least 15 rounds, (20 rounds would be preferred) I will continue with auto draft and take my majority interest in building my team thru free agency and trades. Expanded rosters may never happen but I'll hold on to the dream for as long as it takes.

I will be surprised if we don't see expanded rosters relatively soon. I don't think they will be in '24, but I do think they arrive soon after.

I hope they change the regression in 24 so players don't forget how to play baseball when they turn 32. Minor leaguers should also progress faster if they're having a good year than they currently are.

If a young player wins a major award or gets named to the all-star team they should get a boost to their potential.

An option to increase draft class quality at certain positions or just better quality overall would be appreciated. I could always find tons of high potential starters but never any good shortstops. More variety in the attributes of drafted players.

I'm probably in the minority when it comes to Franchise players but I play every game in my season and I only play one season. So while I understand the importance of improving the scouting and draft features, they don't matter to me because I don't play beyond just the current season.

A few things I'd absolutely love to see:

Larger A Ball Rosters - As someone mentioned earlier, I'd love to see the A rosters expanded to a full 26 players. I'm hoping that with the MiLB players now part of the MLBPA that it could lead to more players being included and pushing SDS to expand MiLB rosters.

Edit/Create Coaching Staff - I play as the Angels and it annoys me that Phil Nevin isn't in the game, but it annoys me even more that the manager they have in the game looks nothing like him. I'd love to see an option to create or edit managers and coaching staff, especially for teams whose managers and coaching staff aren't included in the game.

Import and Create Players! - This is my number one wish for The Show franchise and I can't believe they still haven't added it. I would love for the ability to export players from the live rosters and import them into a saved franchise. I love mirroring the trades that happen in real life in my franchise but so many trades occur that include MiLB players that weren't included in the game at the time I started my franchise. This would help in that area. Also, I love to update ratings in my franchise to match the live roster ratings, especially if there's a huge ratings jump for a player. Instead of having to take a picture or screenshot of their attributes and then manually change them in my franchise, I'd love to be able to export their attributes and import them into my franchise (just like what NBA 2K has allowed you to do for years).

Madden does this for goodness sake. I can't believe that MLB The Show doesn't have this

It would eliminate trades 1 for 1. I'm sure the roster makers would agree.

Would be nice to have full A ball rosters. Maybe. More flexibility with contracts would be great we well

Editing coaches is LONG overdue, Even creating them. I mean almost every sports game has this.

Also importing players and allowing tradse to be 4 for 1, 6 for 1, money exchanges is long overdue

I see a lot of people ask for better graphics. I have ZERO problem with the graphics. Improve the mode more and build on it. That all I want to see.
