I've been saying since the first video release...

Marketing 101 - you use trailers and videos to market what you're tying to sell. And that's what they did. They KNEW the changes they made were minimal(if any). They KNEW the gameplay was the same. They had to market the changes so they did.

They weren't waiting for anything. Fact is, they didn't have anything. At this point they're basically trying to steal our money releasing the same game from last year.

I want to hear countryboy defend this. No way to do so.

I’m at work so I can’t watch but by the sounds of it I guess I will wait for the next one.

I purchase blindly every year but I’m really starting to think twice about this year.

Updated rosters and new facescans are usually enough for me. But damn, last year they didn't add new facescans (minus the dbacks & orioles and elly de la cruz and jackson Holiday) so thats not even guaranteed .

So I am not even seeing a point in purchasing this year yet.

This reminds me of a project that I did the night before it was due hoping to have enough fillers to get like a 70.

I agree. The dog was the best part about that premier.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

The heck did I just watch? Lots of bold catch phrases written on the screen and Jeter's neck looking like an ostrich.

Although I agree, I hope their design goes away from anything that reminds me of something you'd see on a tablet. Gone are the good ol' days of just having listed menu items, I guess.

Same, I know I’m going to enjoy the game and try not to focus too much on their poor marketing.
