Re: MLB The Show 24 Gameplay Improvements and Trailer Revealed
How long is the average wait between pitches? Maybe I’m wrong but I would think most gamers get the ball, select the pitch and throw it in a matter of seconds. Just think the pitch clock is just sort of moot, just my opinion.Comment

To be honest if they add some more after pitch cut scenes I don't think more the 5 -7 seconds will be left before each pitch. Mlb average was 7 Seconds left. Regardless its Authenticity im all for itComment

What would be cool to have as an option, since the CPU probably won't ever get called for a clock infraction, thereby making only humans susceptible to penalty risk, also have as an option to choose risk/reward for humans. The reward is if you get the pitch off within under a second left but no infraction called in time by the ump, get a couple MPH boost on a fastball pith or extra spin movement on breaking pitches. Someone else will have to come up with a reward for batters. I'm fresh out of ideas and it's closing time.T-BONE.

I will play it but only as part of game pass this game does deserve any money excluslively or individually.
I feel very bad for those with ps5's having to pay full price.

Uh….no, lol. I get my full $80.00 enjoyment out of it thru an entire franchise on my PS5, and then some. If I took just the pennies I get in change through out the year and put them in a jar I could probably by ten games.Comment

Immediately seeing the screenshot of Josh Hader, unfortunately I pretty much figured pitching mechanics wouldn’t be fixed. An on going graphical animation issues that continues to linger with this series.

You want me to drop $500 on the Xbox because Sony doesn’t deserve it?

You know me my heart is the right place.
I just think that that money to them shouldn't be given fully anymore

That’s cool. I 100% disagree with you, but it’s all good. Some hate it, some love it. Proceed accordingly. Peace.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 24 Gameplay Improvements and Trailer Revealed
I watched a YouTube video recently on the shifting perceptions of gamers and gaming. It was pretty well done.
Ultimately we are apart of annual corporate gaming. The cons as time passes with each title. Lots of games have foundations that are on 15-20 year innovation pivots without completely destructing a game… which is where the annual deadlines come into play it’s merely unrealistic to expect a substantially different product year over year.
Add in the fact that now on top of that games are being worked on and updated for 4 months on average post launch.
Remember the days where we may have see. 1-2 patches the whole title year? Now we are seeing 5-10
Its corporate; it’s beyond the lead designer and respective teams.
Loot boxes, micro transactions, dlc and patches rule the workload.
Each game is profiting much more in loot box modes vs standalone modes vs AI.
Honest reviews vs monetary revenue which is better for corporate business?
I have game pass and while it’s a tad disappointing I’m still ecstatic that imo the industry’s best sports simulation as far as replicating the sport is for free.
The show is also the least infuriating of the trio (Madden , 2k and MLBTS )
But realistically as gamers we have changed. The pure bliss of our favorite games finding their identity and staples have been pretty sedimentary. The one thing that could of changed was every title making a standalone game from scratch when the current gen consoles dropped but none of that ideology aligns with annual deadlines and year over year revenue expectations.
So here we are in the limbo of gaming especially sports gaming in the current state.

I could buy the standard version nearly 10 times and it would cost me less than your suggestion of paying $500 for a new console and a years subscription to Gamepass
