In.. Dodgers signed Ohtani and Yamamoto so there was no way I wasn’t already pumped.

Hated to abandon my franchise on 22. Probably will always keep the save until I get immersed in 24.

All sports games are an every other year purchase for me now. NBA 2k honestly has been the hardest for me to break away from because every year they still add something significant. Like all 30 teams PA announcers, myeras and proplay. So they got me the last 3 years.

But in for the show 24 and will most likely be out on 25 unless the Dodgers spend 2 billion next year.

In. Already preordered.

But… not sure how soon I’ll switch from my 23 franchise to 24. Probably at least finish the season. May try to do both. We’ll see.

Waiting. For the first time in my life I've never felt more disconnected from the sport. The MLB is not in a good place in my opinion but that's an entirely different discussion.

I've purposely been unplugged after barely touching last year's copy as I feel like I hold this game to a standard that it doesn't quite touch anymore. Not sure how long I'll hold out - if reviews are great from the start I could see myself caving within a week LOL. If reviews are bad, I'll probably wait for when the games on sale.

All in. I usually wait because I'm a real stickler for having full minor league rosters at my disposal, but I got my PS5 in October so I'm more excited for it than usual and will try to enjoy other modes while I wait.

For years I've wanted to make a big roster project (something involving foreign leagues) over the course of the year release cycle and maybe the wait for a completely accurate MLB roster I'll start work on that.

Pre ordered and ready to roll, 8 am on March 15. '23 was a blast and '24 will likely be as well.

You can't beat the start of baseball season. It's the best time of year.

I watch some spring training games while I work. I have the type of job where I can have a game on during work hours. It's pretty pathetic, but it's the sights and sounds that I like. Getting ready for baseball 2024.
