Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
I can't think of any other jerseys like this, though I do know that if you wear any other uniform besides the official Jackie Robinson Day uniforms on April 15th, the selected uniform will remove the NOB and also change the player's number to #42. The Stance socks will also change from the usual ones to the JRD ones, so if you don't like seeing teams wear the actual JRD uniforms with the Dodger blue color and typeface #42 on the back, this method might be preferred for uniform coherence (and kind of matches what the league did prior to 2022, minus the JRD sleeve and hat patches). Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
I just realized the Canada Day uniforms were in the game, just not a selectable option for some reason. At least they're worn on July 1st (even though they're on the road then in my MTO in 2025).

For some reason, I thought they were completely omitted from the game this year
Edit: I started a Blue Jays franchise and simmed to July 1st. You can see that it is automatically selected as the uniform then, but if you move through all the uniform sets from it, you won't find it again. It's a hidden uniform for whatever reason

Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
One error of note with the Canada Day unis is that the helmets should be glossy and not matte.

Glossy helmets look so much better. I'm ready for this matte trend to be over.Comment

Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
I think some teams can rock the matte look, like the Dodgers or the Padres, but I think it's a downgrade for the Blue Jays. They looked so much better glossierComment

I like matte for road uniforms.

Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
The Blue Jays Home ‘01 jersey should have the royal blue outline for a players name on back be slightly thicker:

Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
It looks like the royal blue thickness should be the same thickness as the lighter blue. Some letters look fine, but some look like they're a little thin. And we're talking like 2 pixels thin lmao

Lol I was playing against that jersey and I thought is that NoB accurate? I double checked and it looked offComment

Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
Also if we are going by don’t sizing, almost all of the jerseys are inaccurate. The Mets 90s/2000s jerseys all have the middle layer too thick. So I don’t think they are going to change any of those.Comment

Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
Since we're pointing out some errors on throwback uniforms, I decided to check on the A's ones and have found a couple errors so far (with a workaround for offline players).
For the Home 1970 unis, the pants incorrectly use the faux sansabelt pants, even though the pants at the time were the normal looped ones. The belt shouldn't have the sansabelt striped pattern on it and should thus just match the Home 1965 ones in being plain Kelly green. The Road 1970 unis have the correct belt, but like the Home 1970 socks, they don't sport the striped sock pattern (which the 1965 ones have). The Stance socks should be overwritten by the plain socks.
Below is the old style guide from 1970. Notice the belt loops and socks

Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
In my quick research, I only found one error with the A's 1965 Kansas City unis. Though, unlike the 1970s unis, there are no workarounds for these ones for offline players.
Below is the style guide from 1965

Comparing these, the style guide shows that there are no striped patterns on the socks and are just plain kelly green stirrups over plain white socks. There also are also supposed to be numbers on the sleeves, something that according to Dressed to the Nines uniform database, were a thing from 1963-1965. Unfortunately, good reference pictures that are reliably dated as 1965 are hard to come by, but knowing the history of Satchel Paige, we know that he was an Athletic in 1965 only. Using this, it looks like the actual uniforms worn that year differed from the style guide, with the numbers having likely been phased out that season for plain Kelly green sleeves.
Here's old man Satchel with a 19 year old Catfish Hunter on his lap. Note the stripeless socks and lack of sleeve numbers
Satchel Paige 1965.jpg
Discrepancies with the field-worn unis and the ones shown in the style guide aside, the only error for these ones is that the socks should be stripeless (like the current 1970 ones), only instead of gold socks under the stirrups, they should be white. The Stance socks should be overwritten by the plain socksLast edited by laguna_bob; 06-05-2024, 10:31 PM.Comment

Re: Official 2024 Uniform Errors and Omissions:
Doing this research makes me really wish that the Road 1975 unis were the Kelly green ones and not the gold alts that are in. I mean, come on, these are too beautiful to not be in the game. If only retro uniforms were patched in :/
