We can't really use the colors from this picture to match exactly, but even based on monochrome pictures from back then, the gray looks like it should be lightened a shade or two in both the Home and Road 1925 unis. It also looks like the white used in the uniform might be more of an off-white rather than straight white.

The road hat currently in-game, for some reason, is navy blue with white stripes, something that only appeared on their road uniforms from 1917-1919. It should be just like the home hat, only instead of being white, it's gray

A lot of the photos I see from the 1970 jerseys, it doesn’t look like the socks were striped, but it’s hard to tell because like that Reggie photo, they all have the pants below that part of the socks. So I wonder if they went off of those photos.

Finding good reference pictures is very hard to come by. I'm currently in the middle of looking at EVERY retro uniform in the game and pointing out all the errors/inconsistencies. I've already spent like 10 hours on it with all of the NL done.

Though, it does look like the ones worn in 1970 and 1971 did have the stripes in my research. But like you said, sometimes they wore the pants lower so the stripes would be covered.

But here, you can see the stripes despite the way Reggie wore his pants

I suppose this picture could've been the 1969 uniforms as they were identical to the 1970/1971 ones, only they said A rather than A's and had the MLB 100th anniversary patch below the A on the jersey. Regardless, these uniforms all had the striped socks. Striped socks were dropped starting in 1972

I'd be surprised if these changes ever get made this year, but I'll send it to see what happens. All I have left now is the AL central and west.

I’ve updated the main post (which I did in an inefficient way lol), that must’ve felt like an eternity to gather.

I'm surprised the uniform selection screen hasn't been burned into my monitor, lmao.

I tried making it so there wouldn't be content that is exclusive to one uniform being removed, but unfortunately for accuracy I had to mention it. Unlikely, but it would be nice if SDS just made it a separate extra cap to wear (kinda like how they made the white panel Nationals cap recently into different ones).

It was also a pain in the butt trying to determine what the colors are for the really old unis. Poor reference photos and less than ideal style guide pictures didn't paint the whole image, but I like to think that what I found should be correct

It seems like the majority were with the older unis, likely due to it being difficult to get the reference photos like you said

100%. I just felt like the methodology of designing them in the game just differs since some teams already have that aged off-white/cream home color (like the new Cardinals' Home 1956 ones) while even older ones (like the Cardinals' Home 1951 ones) have a pure white color.

The most likely reason for these inconsistencies is definitely because of differing design philosophies over the years as most of these retro unis have been in the game forever

Didn’t see this posted, so apologies if it has been. The Dodgers City Connect 2.0. They remind me of a PopTart. Interesting to see how they’ll handle the back names and numbers as the names actually go through the bottom of the number. They leaked but I couldn’t find an article with them. Given how SDS uses a template for their uniforms I’ll be interested to see if they can pull them off.

Interesting to see how they’ll handle the back names and numbers as the names actually go through the bottom of the number. They leaked but I couldn’t find an article with them. Given how SDS uses a template for their uniforms I’ll be interested to see if they can pull them off.

I cannot think of any other uniform that has the front numbers there rather than on the right breast or stomach level. I wonder if that's what caused the delay in getting those CCs in-game last year?

This article has a look at the back of the jerseys. I noticed something else just now that I hadn't before. I'm wondering if a fix for the uniforms is coming this year instead of next. If you look the MLB logo is back above the collar where it had always been before, instead of below like the new template they were using this year.

The names/numbers on the back will be easy. They just make the number font so it is “cut off” at the bottom. Then the text font box goes below it.
