The Blue Jays Red Canada Day jersey no longer appears on July 1 in Franchise. It’s likely they’ll add that uniform in a patch to all modes and they didn’t mean for it to appear early.

Interesting….can we hope for the patch to add July 4th gears as well ??


BTW I checked for a fix of NYM CC batting helmet……but negative.

Edit : just to confirm, Jays CC piping and undershirt are fixed as expected

Few things off with the new Twins CC compared to the reveal. I'll update this once they actually wear them on the field, but as of now, here are the errors:

The Stance socks seemingly are completely different (should be the navy ones with the yellow part at the bottom)

Hat logo should be a little bigger I think. MLB logo on back should be royal blue rather than navy. Underbill should be navy and include the Lake Minnetonka design (although I'm not sure if SDS can include that as they never included the Tiger design for Detroit's CC hat underbill)

It looks like the design on the back side of the jersey should be mirrored. The ripple lines in the middle are going from top left to bottom right in-game but IRL are the opposite. Also looks like this diamond shape in the middle shouldn't be seen entirely when worn on a player (see the IRL post below, you can see only the top half of it)

Overall, the navy looks like it could be darker (it looks like the MN wordmark on the jersey has the perfect shade of navy, so the rest of the uni should use that shade). The royal blue could use a little more vibrancy as it looks a smidge washed out. The jersey seems to have a slight greenish hue and doesn't seem to match the shade of royal blue used for the rest of the uniform, so I think it definitely needs more vibrancy to match

I wonder how they decide what teams memorial patches get added. The Red Sox have had one for Tim Wakefield for a while and those haven’t been added

Also I’m sure the Orioles ad patch will be added next time. I didn’t even know they’d gotten one.

Almost done researching all the retro uniform errors for the AL. I should be able to finish it by this weekend, but unfortunately, I've largely ignored one aspect of these uniforms which would actually drive me insane if I didn't get some assistance taking note of them from those willing - it's all the NOB and number typefaces used.

Prior, I just largely assumed SDS had already done the dirty work and nailed all of these, but unfortunately for us, a LOT of the typefaces are wrong on these retro unis (I can see why they weren't accurate as this is a pain to research and determine which is a match). I only pointed out a few in my previous post for the NL retro uni errors, but I obviously missed quite a lot of these typeface errors.

I've been trying to determine which ones are wrong as well as trying to note which ones the corrected typeface could use from existing unis, but this is extremely tedious. I really wish there was a proper uniform inspector screen to more easily view the uniforms closely without having to go in-game each time. If anyone has the spare time to help me out with this tall task, let me know and I could create a Discord server or something similar to more easily communicate with.

If you want to see a very tiny error just to see what's up, here's the back of the Home 1980 uniform for the Astros as it currently is in-game vs. how it looks IRL. Notice that the '4' and the 'A' are slightly different, but overall fairly close. Even the '3' is slightly off. Other numbers were also off using these uniforms (Altuve's '7' in his number is missing the serif on the bottom, which for other 1980 uniforms, the 7 had a serif). In terms of all the typeface errors to note, this is a miniscule one. I just was recently researching the Astros unis, so this was just fresh off the mind.

I would greatly appreciate any help I could get. There is no rush in doing this research as I'm quite sure these corrections would take quite a bit of time to be implemented in the game (assuming the team at SDS would carry on with the work). You might ask why am I going through all this tedious work for just a chance that it may one day be corrected? No idea, lmao. But now that I've noticed all these things, it's hard to ignore them and to not want them to be fixed ._.

Was looking through uniforms and explaining all about them to my gf when I noticed that the Cubs' CC belt was navy rather than the powder blue it should be. Idk how I never noticed this error in the couple years of having them lol

Personal preference, but I'm not a fan of jerseys and pants being the same color. So I liked the white pants version of that uniform.

Same here. Its not as bad to me if they do the same color pants but use the high socks look where the sock color is different from the pants. But a lot of guys use the long pants look.
