No trades at deadline or July even?????

I don't know if its a bug, an extreme oddity or what exactly, but I just completed the month of July with zero trades for the month including the deadline. I know that CPU are on because there were two that took place earlier in the season. I even tried "re-playing" the final week with the trade frequency slider maxed out and still nothing.

I loaded up a dummy franchise with current rosters and trades occurred?!?!?!

I am really baffled, confused, and a bit frustrated because one of the most exciting times in the baseball season was an absolute dud. I don't want to sim ahead to next year to see if the same thing happens, because I hate "knowing" the future so to speak.

I don't want to start over with updated rosters because I hate starting over. I'm hesitant to move forward because if this is a problem/bug somehow related to my roster (not sure how) then its just a waste of time.

I'm stuck! I don't want to wait to see if a patch fixes the issue, because I'm not entirely sure there is an actual issue. I really don't know, but am fairly frustrated at the moment.

I'm seriously comtemplating going back to '23, '22, or hell even '21 and just picking up one of those franchises and moving along.

This absolutely sucks as I have no explanation!

This game really needs a feature like the Last Day of the Transfer Window in FIFA, where it goes hour by hour.

My RTTS team (AZ) made three major trades at the deadline and I was up 15 games and had the best record in the NL. I was shocked! Now I have 3 starting catchers and lost my All Star second baseman and closing pitcher. Oh well.

If you believe it might be roster related why not start a test franchise and sim to the deadline?

I did and there were trades which makes this all the more confusing

How about simming to next year and see if it fixes itself? Then you could move forward with more confidence?

I'm having a bit of the same problem. I literally haven't had any trades at all up to July so far. Very odd.

In my franchise the last thing I see is the injuries simulated slider. I am trying to post a picture of it

Just experienced something similar. I’m pretty sure I’m using the injury roster from release day. There was only one cpu trade. I’m playing with the white Sox and had been doing a bunch of wheeling and dealing trying to make improvements so I was wondering if the game has some sort of threshold for trades and that’s why there weren’t any. Because I had made too many?
I’ve done some sims with (I think) the same roster and definitely seen trades, so idk. It does seem like I see more trades when I just sim a test season than I do in my actual franchise when I’m going day by day, but that could just be in my head.

On a positive note no trades means no crazy head scratchers.

I forget which year it was, but probably five or six years ago I had something similar happen. If I played my games, no trades happened. If I simmed, I'd get trades. Sounds like it may be a bug that's found its way back in.

Man I hope this is not the case. I just simmed my current franchise to first week of August and saw trades. Was offered several as well. My franchise uses slightly edited custom roster from Joshc1977. I have played every game in this franchise so far and have reached the end of April. No trades as of now.

In the sims I did there were over 20 trades with cardinals involved in 9 using identical roster.

In my franchise I had less trades that I was involved in.

I don’t know what is going on.

3 cpu trades total in season.

I’m about to just go back to ‘23.
