    I really wish they’d update Marcus Stroman’s face. It’s terrible. One of the worst in the entire game. He deserves better. Even if he refuses to get scanned, they should be able to do better than that.

        They do not (they have the SDS custom attempt at a face), but neither has had a scan for the last few years, so it leads me to believe that it’s the players decision and not SDS.

          FYI there are people on this forum who have been advocating for more foul balls for many years. I never understood it but it has been happening.

            Several more games played. I’m giving up runs and hits. Have given up a few more HRs but it seems like I’m seeing less hard hit doubles. Again it’s roughly 10 games and is a very small sample size. So it could just be the way the games have played out. My current game I have given up 5 runs but it’s all been on singles. Anyone else noticed less solid contact or is it just the way the games have shaken out for me?

              I’m not seeing any difference between pre and post patch in regards to gameplay. I may be seeing less foul balls but nothing stands out.

              To answer your question directly, I’m still seeing solid contact now as I have all season. Marlins just lit me up for 8 runs on 16 hits with 2 homeruns and a few doubles and a triple by Jon Berti.

                    I’ve played 4 more games today. Sample size of around 14 games. All exhibition. Definitely seeing more swings and misses the more games I’ve played. Not a ridiculous amount but it’s definitely noticeable from pre patch. It’s not like the strike out stupidity of 23 by any stretch of the imagination, but I still think it should have been left alone. My pitches per inning have went down slightly from what they were. It was taking me around 10-15 pitches to get through an inning, now I can do it in around 7-10 pitches on average. I’ve given up 3 HRs in my 4 games today. For what it’s worth I still haven’t given up a double in those 4 games. It’s been either singles or HR. So I’m not sure what that’s about. Contact just doesn’t seem as hard to me other than on HRs. But it could be in my head too. Hopefully this is the last gameplay change they make.

                    Edit: Just gave up 3 doubles in one inning. A 35 pitch inning at that. Safe to say it was in my head.

                      Another game, and the CPU's foul rate for this one was 25.8%. So that's 24.3% over 3 games.

                          If they honestly brought back the strikeouts from 2023 I swear to God I'll never purchase this game ever again. I'm out of town and won't play again until Wednesday. Sure hope they didn't do what I think they did.

                              This is the only sports game I can play on default sliders thanks to dynamic difficulty. Has anyone tried this? I am not seeing any of the gameplay complaints mentioned. I have seen much better pitch counts on quick counts due to less foul balls.

                                I have noticed slightly more swings and misses but it's not an unreasonable amount at all. It's still mostly with my top pitchers. I'm happy with it. Still don't think it needed to be changed but they didn't ruin the game or anything like I had feared. I still think most(not all) of the complaints were from people that were mad they couldn't get through an inning in 2 minutes, or that just don't have the patience for baseball. But it is what it is. It still plays great. More similar to the pitching in 22 than 23 IMO.
