Anybody notice that the Manager submenu in the pause screen has a scroll bar? Could indicate more in-game manager options? Onscreen was bullpen, subs, mound visit, opponent bullpen. Offscreen will be defensive position plus what would appear to be another one or two options based on the scrollbar size.

I like how in the pause menu it looks like it could be back to showing four plate appearance results in the batter summary (since TS21 it's been three).
I've requested SDS reconsider the choice of Season Stats below the batter summary - it shows PA, AVG, RBI, H and HR. The only ones really useful to have so easily accessible are AVG and HR. I've suggested they make it AVG, OBP, SLG, OPS and HR. Even those same stats vs the handedness of the current pitcher.Check out youtube.com/RedTedisbackComment

I like the new layout of the menus.
Also like the MLB The Show Network swipe. Curious what updates they did, if anything, for regional broadcasts.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Really appreciate that SDS took almost an hour and a half to go over new gameplay features. I'm always looking for additional presentation enhancements during these videos, but one thing I noticed was missing (from recent editions) was the fielder's last name was not shown. Now this may have been intentional to show off the new fielding enhancement tools, but as someone who will not use these new features I'm hoping we at least have the option for our fielder's name to appear. A little thing, I know.
By chance did anyone notice any enhancements to PNC or Comerica ballparks in yesterday's video?Last edited by ricket; 02-14-2025, 11:44 AM.Comment

I also thought the outfield walls in Seattle were a darker shade of green. Can’t remember if that was yesterday or and earlier clip though.MLB: TORONTO BLUE JAYS

Re: MLB The Show 25 Feature Premiere - Gameplay Updates Tomorrow at 2:00 PM ET
Reading the in-game strategy guide guess pitch page, it states 'guessing either or both wrong is treated as the same result and incurs a small contact and power penalty' and 'additional contact and power penalties apply if you swing when guessing wrong'.
The way Chris described Ambush hitting it sounds no different to 'Guess Pitch No Feedback'. Which hasn't worked properly since TS21 anyway (it still gives feedback).
Either way they are still different just due to the quadrant vs inside/outside difference and you can’t guess the actual pitch type in ambush hitting. They do similar things but with different options and different results.Comment
