Re: MLB The Show 25 Q&A
Keep scrolling down past it. The very first ''hidden'' screen is Jukebox. There are more still past that too.T-BONE.

Re: MLB The Show 25 Q&A
Didn't see this until now. It's still in the game, but now it's in a menu on the pause screen. Go to Advanced Stats from the Stats tab on the pause menu and you'll have all of the Statcast stuff from last year (along with the current pitcher and batter quirks). It's context-sensitive to the team that is currently batting which means you can only look at your team's hitting stats while you're in your offensive half of the inning - checking during the other half will show other team's info. Same for pitching, except the reverse. And it's not available in the end game screen (wasn't when it was mapped to a d-pad button either).Comment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Q&A
Is it me or is the cutoff man feature on RTTS bugged or am I missing something? Is there a way to opt out of receiving a throw? I play 3B and the LF is throwing the ball to me in scenarios where it makes zero sense to.
Like I'm talking bottom of the 9th, winning run on 2nd. A base hit to LF is going to be an automatic throw to home plate because the game is over otherwise. Nope. He still throws the ball to me to do a relay even though the runner is nearly home by the time I get it.
For that matter, basically every single time a runner is trying to score from 2B, I end up instead being made to cut the ball and at that point I'm better off just taking a free out at 2B (when 9 times out of 10 in real life the runner would've stopped at 1B). This happens almost every game.
Hope I'm missing something. I've even gone out of my way to stand nowhere near where the game tells me to stand to cut off, I've literally gone to the 3B coaching box, and the LF STILL throws to me no matter what.Comment

Really wish it was more readily accessible

Re: MLB The Show 25 Q&A
This ''interactive storylines'', is that in Franchise Mode? Is it naturally occuring or do I have to do something to choose the direction? And if so, how?T-BONE.

No doubt homerun camera is horrible and it happens too much. Do you think lowering power slider would somewhat eliminate the no doubter homeruns?Comment

When it activates during pregame, you'll see a list of stories to pick from as well as tabs to view MLB and minor league news, and selecting one of the storylines will trigger a commentary-driven spotlight on whatever story you picked.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Q&A
Yeah, it's a Franchise thing. As long as you have its option turned on in Presentation and have Presentation Mode on either Hybrid or Broadcast, it'll happen on its own. Some openings like Opening Day (and a team's home opener) take precedence, though.

Re: MLB The Show 25 Q&A
Yeah that makes sense why you weren't seeing it. It's not a thing until the Regular Season. Also, Playoff games have their own openings so it's not used there either.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Q&A
Has anyone tried starting a Franchise with a customer roster in the Regular Season? Do rosters, pitching rotations and lineups still get all jumbled? Or do they actually stick from the roster file?Comment

Can you turn the arrows off that shows fielder reactions? I find them to be a distraction when I’m trying to play the field.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Q&A
Yeah, the menus in Franchise aren't great this year. Luckily everything is in the same place as the past few years so I know where to find it. But the having to scroll down is kind of annoying. I don't remember having to do that last year.Comment
