I can't remember where I saw it discussed before but I thought someone was talking about the game basically freezing after you select a pitcher to warm up in the bullpen (the game basically goes to the pause menu but you can't control anything). This happened to me for the first time last night. Is there a work around to un-freeze it or is my only option to close the game and start over?

Use the quick menu options (the D-Pad) to use your bullpen and/or substitutions.

I’ve never experienced the bug because the quick menu is, and has been since they’ve implemented it, the best way to sub or bring up your bullpen.

Create-a-team/Custom team; can official jerseys be used rather than creating one from scratch? (franchise mode, not DD)

There are no stupid questions here.

Once you choose to re-brand a team, you'll need to create new uniforms for that team. You can't use the uniforms that came with the game for that team anymore.

Can somebody tell me if there is a way to change the opposing team’s uniforms prior to a franchise game. I’m not a fan of the city connects and would like to avoid them if possible.

Yes

Just move the controller icon from your team to the opposing team and then you can select their uniform.

When done just move controller icon back to your team and start the game

Thanks CB. I’ve played this game long enough to know that but what was/is happening to me is that after setting a uniform selection with the x button I was getting sent to the stadium select screen before I could move to the other team.
What I didn’t realize was that I could use the back button to go and set the second team uniform. I may be causing this myself since I’m still on 1.08 but the game is playing wonderfully for me and I don’t want to change a thing.

I need some help with setting up 30 team control. I have to be doing something wrong, but I can't figure it out.

I have two presets - Grey with everything set to manual, and CPU with everything set to auto. My Settings Preset is Grey. Whenever I start a Franchise, I set 1 team to Grey and all other teams to CPU in the Select User Teams screen then advance to the Task selection screen, setting all three to manual, then advance. Custom Game Entry - skip and set later and advance to Spring Training.

On my User team home screen, Contract Extensions, Free Agency, and Trade Talks show Auto. ??? I check my setting Preset: Grey and everything says manual. I check my Settings FIle Association and it show my team as Grey and all others as CPU. If I switch Contracts, Free Agency, and Trades to manual, and go into User Settings, where the CPU Preset on those items changed to ??? I put the CPU Presets back to Auto and when I go back to my team home screen, it all says Auto again. ??? It's like the game isn't registering my Grey Preset and USER team and is using CPU settings for all teams.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I'm considering uninstalling/reinstalling the game to see if that helps.

What do you have as the default settings? Maybe the CPU one is the default and that is what is showing. I think someone said that years ago too.

I had Grey as my default. Interestingly, when I tried to delete one of the presets, there was an "empty" that kept popping up. And then I remembered, on the team select screen, I had the option of Grey, CPU, and "Empty". I didn't think anything of it at the time.

I deleted Grey (and any other preset), leaving only CPU. I then created/copied a preset based off of "simulation". It says simulation 1. Set each preset accordingly, and everything seems to be working as intended. Only now I'm afraid to rename Simulation 1. 😆

Its not marked on the calendar. They will have the Show broadcast theme when you start the game.

When rebranding a team how do I get the uniforms to stick? Whenever I go from hat to jersey to pants ect. my changes reset.
I’m sure I had the same problem last year but can’t remember the work around to make them stick.

A little advice would be appreciated. Please and thank you.
